This product automatically generates JIS-compliant orthographic projection DXF data simply by uploading 3D CAD data (STEP files), dramatically improving the efficiency of the "drawing breakdown" process, which has historically consumed a vast amount of designers' time.
The product will be showcased at "Manufacturing NEXT" (Booth Number: E35-30) during the "38th Manufacturing World Tokyo" exhibition, held from July 1, 2026 (Wed) to July 3, 2026 (Fri).

BACKGROUND: Serious Challenges in Manufacturing Design Sites
While 3D CAD is becoming widespread in the manufacturing industry, according to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "2020 Monozukuri White Paper," less than 20% of companies are conducting 3D design. Only about 15% of companies provide design instructions to partner companies using 3D data; in reality, over half still use 2D drawings for instructions (Note 1).
The "drawing breakdown" (creation of part drawings) arises to bridge this "gap between 3D design and 2D manufacturing instructions." Particularly in product fields where each item is unique, such as industrial machinery and labor-saving equipment, it is necessary to create hundreds to thousands of part drawings individually per product, making drawing breakdown a burdensome process that accounts for the majority of design man-hours.
Moreover, manual drawing breakdown not only requires a significant amount of time but also carries the risk of human error, such as missing dimensions or omitting tolerance specifications due to fatigue. Such minor mistakes have been a factor in the critical deterioration of QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery), leading to processing defects, assembly impossibility, and delivery delays in subsequent processes.
