MAIA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuka Tsukida; hereinafter MAIA), which aims to create an environment where women can work as themselves by fostering female digital talent and supporting the digitalization of companies and local governments nationwide, is pleased to announce an overhaul of some courses in its monthly subscription e-learning program "Digital Joshi+ (Plus)".
In addition, two new special courses will be launched to learn the basics and mindset of generative AI on a spot basis: "First AI Class" and "Gift Training Basic".

Background and Objectives of the Program Overhaul
Through initiatives such as the "Digital Joshi Project" in collaboration with local governments, MAIA has provided many women with opportunities to acquire digital skills and employment. Leveraging this know-how, MAIA has developed "Digital Joshi+" as an e-learning program that can be accessed monthly from anywhere in Japan.
In addition to the acceleration of DX in recent years, the rapid spread of generative AI and other factors are making the digital skills demanded by the market increasingly sophisticated and diverse. To respond quickly to these changes, we have decided to update the curriculum. The program will be revamped to better align with market needs and focus on practical learning directly applicable to real-world tasks.
Key Points of the Overhaul
1. Expansion of Generative AI Related Courses
Generative AI related courses will be expanded with the new launch of "Generative AI Fundamentals Course," "Generative AI Applied (Claude) Course," "Copilot / Copilot Studio Course," and "Business Flow Analysis Course." These four courses will be offered as a "Generative AI Course" and will be tackled together within a single term (courses are offered four times a year at fixed periods). The next term is scheduled to begin on September 16, 2026 (Wed).

1 Generative AI Fundamentals Course This course provides a systematic understanding of how generative AI works, along with learning the features and selection methods of major AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. From prompt techniques that can be used immediately in practice to risk management for smart collaboration with AI, beginners can acquire knowledge and practical skills from scratch.
*The "Generative AI Fundamentals Course" can also be learned as an on-demand program, available anytime. It is scheduled to be offered as a standalone program in early August.
2 Generative AI Applied (Claude) Course This course develops the ability to create original AI apps without programming by utilizing Claude's Artifacts function. Participants will learn advanced Claude features such as memory, connectors, and projects while gradually building practical applications. Finally, they will experience developing their own original AI app and presenting it via slides.
3 Business Flow Analysis Course Through three practical scenarios—inventory sales, purchasing orders, and attendance/payroll management—participants will learn consistently through hands-on practice, from creating business flowcharts to practical interviews with AI characters, and designing ideal business flows (TO-BE) and scenarios. Finally, using the generative AI "NotebookLM," participants will create a business improvement proposal for the introduction of a core system.
*The "Business Flow Analysis Course" is also included within the respective terms of the SAP and RPA courses.
4 Copilot / Copilot Studio Course This is a hands-on course that teaches the design and implementation of AI agents tailored to business needs using no-code. Starting with environment setup, participants will organize basic concepts such as the differences between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, practice creating customer tables using Excel data and adding knowledge such as product catalogs, and develop skills in building data foundations and setting instructions for AI. Through creating agents for practical use, participants will systematically acquire skills in setting conversation flows and conditional branching, culminating in a final presentation.
2. Redesign of Specialized Domain Courses (SAP & RPA)
The learning content for SAP and RPA has been reviewed and redesigned from basic to practical levels. - SAP: Focuses on business understanding and basic operations. - RPA: Specializes in practical application using UiPath.
The courses have been rebalanced to optimize them for practical use in the workplace, enabling more individuals to reach a level where they can confidently engage in actual business tasks. Additionally, the curriculum for the "Business Flow Analysis Course" has been newly incorporated into the SAP and RPA courses.
*The "SAP Course" and "RPA Course" are offered on a term basis, with the next term scheduled to begin on September 16, 2026 (Wed).
The "MAIA Career Support Platform," a feature of "Digital Joshi+," will continue to provide comprehensive career support, along with collaborative learning through the community.
MAIA Career Support Platform The "MAIA Career Support Platform" allows users to manage their learning progress and career steps.
Collaborative Learning Through Community The dedicated Slack community provides an environment where members can freely consult with each other, ask questions to seniors, and share information at any time. It is a supportive community where many women explore new career paths and assist each other, allowing for secure learning.
Newly Established Special Courses
In addition to the regular subscription-based program, new special courses will be offered to acquire necessary skills on a spot basis. The lineup is designed to foster skills in "using and creating" AI, as well as nurturing "uniquely human strengths" that become increasingly valuable in the age of AI.
1 First AI Class
This is a live, hands-on course designed to help participants efficiently streamline their work and work smarter using AI.
Features - Live Hands-on Experience: After watching the instructor's demo, participants will engage in hands-on practice of five practical skills. - Comparison of Different Generative AIs: Participants will use ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM to experience how results and characteristics differ even with the same prompt. The goal is to understand the characteristics of each AI and the points to be aware of, enabling appropriate utilization. - Continuous Learning in the Community: A dedicated Slack community is provided for participants to ask questions and share information with each other.
Skills Acquired - Concrete Productivity Improvement: Participants will gain a concrete vision of how to make work easier using AI and visualize improvements in work productivity. - Practical Application Skills for Major Tools: Participants will be able to "use" ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM and start applying them to their work immediately. - Understanding AI Characteristics and Risk Management: Participants will understand the strengths and weaknesses of AI, its characteristics such as hallucinations, and points to be aware of, enabling them to make appropriate judgments and utilize AI effectively. - Prompting and Application Skills: Participants will acquire skills such as prompt techniques including specifying background, role, and output format, drafting emails, converting tone, utilizing source-limited AI by inputting documents, and generating images for social media and presentations.
2 Gift Training Basic
In today's world of rapidly advancing AI and digital tools, this is a self-understanding program designed to help individuals maintain their own core values and choose a life path that is true to themselves. It helps participants rediscover their innate talents and unique qualities (gifts) that lie dormant within them and reframe them as valuable assets. This program has a proven track record of being held at many large corporations, SMEs, labor unions, and government agencies.
Features - Rediscovery of Dormant "Gifts": Participants will unearth their innate talents and qualities, which they may have suppressed or undervalued due to past experiences or self-doubt. - Reframing Weaknesses into Strengths: Participants will reframe what they perceive as weaknesses (e.g., "I can't do this," "I don't have that") as valuable inherent qualities, transforming them into powerful assets. - Approach to Fostering Mutual Respect: By deeply understanding their own gifts, participants will become more aware of the talents and unique qualities of those around them, laying the foundation for mutually respectful relationships.
Skills Gained
- Life Purpose and Verbalization Skills: Participants will be able to articulate their talents and strengths clearly, defining their mission and vision (core values) for their future lives. - Proactive Living and Decision-Making Skills: By removing self-imposed limitations such as "I can't do it," participants will discover new possibilities within themselves and take a step towards living a free and authentic life. - Relationship Building and Teamwork Skills: By recognizing each other's gifts, participants can build smooth collaborations in business, as well as foster positive relationships in their families and partnerships. - Challenge Spirit and Flexible Thinking: Participants' perspectives on past failures and weaknesses will shift positively, fostering an attitude of proactively tackling new changes and challenges.
