MAIA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuka Tsukida; hereinafter "MAIA"), which fosters female digital talent and supports the digitalization of companies and local governments nationwide to create an environment where women can work in their own way, serves as the lead organizer. The "Digital Women Empowerment Consortium," composed of MAIA, Grameen Japan (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Kimihiro Hyakuno; hereinafter "Grameen Japan"), and SAP Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroshi Suzuki; hereinafter "SAP Japan"), has decided to implement and begin recruiting for the 4th term of the "Tottori Digital Women Project." This project provides comprehensive digital education and employment support for women in Tottori Prefecture, based on the "Agreement on Sustainable Development of Remote Worker Training, etc." concluded with Tottori Prefecture and three other public and private organizations.

About the Tottori Digital Women Project

The "Digital Women Empowerment Consortium" combines the knowledge and services of MAIA, Grameen Japan, and SAP Japan to consistently provide recruitment, training, education, and employment support for women who can utilize digital technology.

In September 2023, an "Agreement on Sustainable Development of Remote Worker Training, etc." was concluded with Tottori Prefecture and three other public and private organizations. Through this agreement, the collaborating organizations and Tottori Prefecture aim to mutually cooperate in fostering regional human resources who can utilize digital technology, including remote worker training, and providing employment support. The goal is to contribute to the independence and active participation of regional human resources and the revitalization of local industries.

Based on this agreement, the 4th term of the "Tottori Digital Women Project" will target women residing in Tottori Prefecture who aim for employment (including side jobs and副業) rather than just skill acquisition. MAIA will provide opportunities to acquire SAP, a highly demanded IT-related skill, through e-Learning. In addition, a wide range of curricula beyond IT will be offered, including training on important mindsets and business skills for work, and financial training to review personal values. After completion, the goal is to help participants work in more flexible and higher-paying jobs through job placement services.
