LX DESIGN Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Co-CEOs and Representatives: Satoshi Kanaya and Shinji Takenaka; hereinafter "the Company"), the operator of "Fukugyo Sensei®" (Teacher with Side Job®), a program that connects schools with external professionals who wish to teach part-time, announces that on June 29, 2026 (Mon), it has signed a partnership agreement with Kyogoku Town, Hokkaido, on regional revitalization, industrial promotion, and educational development through the utilization of external human resources. Through this agreement, the Company and the town will work together to create a culture of "facing children as a team," integrating schools and communities, with outreach classes by external professionals (Fukugyo Sensei®) at the core.

Background of the Partnership Agreement

Kyogoku Town, Hokkaido, a nature-rich agricultural and tourism town located at the foot of Mount Yotei, has positioned it as a key educational goal that the next generation of children develop an "entrepreneurial and challenging spirit," growing into individuals capable of independently solving local challenges while engaging with regional industries such as agriculture and tourism. However, challenges such as teacher shortages common in rural areas and limited access to specialized external expertise have hindered the realization of this goal. Meanwhile, the Company's "Fukugyo Sensei®" service connects diverse business professionals and experts who wish to contribute to school education through side jobs with actual school settings. It provides a system enabling schools to easily access external expertise in fields such as entrepreneurship education, career education, inquiry-based learning, and community problem-solving learning—areas that are difficult for teachers alone to fully cover.

Under this partnership agreement, the Company and Kyogoku Town will jointly advance entrepreneurship education through external human resources and promote teacher work-style reform, while also implementing community problem-solving learning that integrates with Kyogoku’s local industries, as well as supporting in-school training and organizational development. Together, the town and the Company will co-create an "education curriculum open to society" that empowers children to take pride in their local community and cultivate the ability to shape their own futures.

(1) Promotion of entrepreneurship education utilizing external human resources (Fukugyo Sensei®)
