Linkhola Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kyoko Nomura) and the Green Human Resource Development Council (Representative: Takeo Kikkawa, President of International University) will co-host the "[Participatory Decarbonization Business Simulation] Plan Your Company's Next Revenue Stream! Carbon Credit Creation Workshop" on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Digital Garage Headquarters in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The workshop targets personnel from business development, sustainability, and corporate planning departments. It is a practical workshop where participants, treating the rapidly growing carbon credit market as a new business opportunity, will use their company's business resources as a theme and leverage AI to devise a prototype for a credit creation scheme in 90 minutes. The capacity is 50 people, participation is free, and it will be held on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Carbon credits" are rapidly gaining prominence as a new business development theme for companies.
Amidst global warming countermeasures becoming a management issue, the carbon credit market continues to expand in demand, from global corporations to major domestic companies. However, the current market situation is characterized by an overwhelming shortage of "business development personnel (green talent)" who can actually design and promote projects.
This means that individuals who can leverage their company's business resources to create credits now have highly valuable career opportunities.
"Can we create credits with our company's business?" "Can we plan new businesses in the decarbonization field?"
For business development and sustainability department personnel who have asked these questions, a practical workshop will be held at Digital Garage Headquarters in Shibuya, Tokyo, to provide answers in 90 minutes.
Three Features of This Workshop
Practical workshop that is not just "listen and leave"
Instead of a seminar or lecture format, participants will design a prototype for a carbon credit creation scheme on the spot, using their own company's resources as a theme. The structure is designed for participants to take home a "thinking framework" in 90 minutes.
Experience business planning through AI prototyping
In teams of several people, participants will design a credit creation scheme using AI. The 90 minutes will be an experience where participants can feel the forefront of decarbonization business as their "own matter," including examples of AI utilization.
Direct feedback from a leading expert in carbon credits to each team
Kyoko Nomura, Representative Director of Linkhola Inc., will provide direct feedback to each team's presentation from the perspective of "feasibility of commercialization." This is an opportunity to receive practical feedback from a frontline practitioner.
