LDFS Inc., which operates 'THE GREAT BURGER', 'The Little BAKERY Tokyo', 'LUCKY ALEXANDER CHINA', and 'YOU KNOW WHAT', will open the Italian restaurant 'LENOX HOUSE' a 1-minute walk from Sangubashi Station, an area with the lush greenery of Yoyogi Park and a quiet residential neighborhood.
At 'LENOX HOUSE', we offer dishes prepared with traditional techniques, focusing on pasta handmade in-house and regional dishes from across Italy using seasonal ingredients. From lunchtime with pleasant natural light streaming in, to dinnertime illuminated by soft lighting, you can enjoy your time however you like—whether gathering around a table with family and friends, casually enjoying wine and pasta at the counter, or having a private gathering for an anniversary.
**About the Space**
The interior, where vintage and modern fuse, is based on brown, white, and gray, featuring originally manufactured fixtures and furniture using rare antique wood. Baby pink tiles are used as an accent against the natural marble of the floor and counter top, creating a warm space. In addition to table seating, a bar counter and private rooms are available.
The Glo-Ball lighting by Jasper Morrison, a leading British product designer, gently illuminates the space. At the bar, you can drop by casually and enjoy from a single dish. You can also directly enjoy the sound played from custom original speakers. In the private rooms, you can relax for everything from private dining to meals with children.
Choose your favorite wine from 40 to 50 varieties, mainly from Italy. Take-out for home use is also available. From inside the restaurant, you can observe the process of artisans hand-making pasta. Enjoy the best sound blending into the space with our custom-made speakers.
**About the Food**
The food lineup ranges from appetizers to pasta, mains, and desserts, featuring regional dishes prepared with traditional Italian techniques using carefully selected seasonal ingredients from across Japan. Simple seasoning brings out the deliciousness of the ingredients. The diverse range of pasta handmade in the restaurant is also one of our charms. For mains, we offer dishes centered around grills using a stone oven, such as Acqua Pazza and stews. Seasonal dishes using gibier (wild game) are also available.
Appetizers like raw oysters, carpaccio, and burrata allow you to taste the ingredients simply. There is always a lineup of about 10 types of pasta and risotto. The pasta uses a blend of wheat from Italy and Hokkaido, tailored to its characteristics. For the mains, we offer vegetables, fish, and meat cooked at a high temperature for a short time using a white clay brick oven from France. They are baked savory on the outside and fluffy and juicy on the inside.
For desserts, in addition to Italian classics like tiramisu and gelato, we also offer baked sweets from our sister store, 'The LITTLE Bakery Tokyo'. The tableware is original, created by Shoshi Watanabe, a ceramic artist based in LA.
