SuMPO NEXT Corporation Begins New Chapter

SuMPO NEXT Corporation (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Takehisa Kabiya; President: Masayuki Kanzaki; hereinafter "SuMPO NEXT") is pleased to announce that as of July 1, 2026, it has taken over the majority of the SD Business Unit's operations, key businesses of the SX business, and related businesses, in addition to the management planning functions, from the Sustainable Management Promotion Organization (SuMPO), and has commenced operations under a new structure.

SuMPO NEXT will advance to a new growth stage as a comprehensive sustainable management support company integrating LCA, SD, and SX, building upon the expertise in the LCA field cultivated as the former LCA Expert Center Corporation.

The corporate environment is becoming increasingly diverse and complex, encompassing climate change response, the circular economy, natural capital, human capital, and information disclosure. In response to these changes, SuMPO NEXT aims to provide integrated support from strategy formulation to implementation for the transformation of companies and local governments, going beyond mere regulatory compliance and calculation support.

Furthermore, we will support the dual goals of solving social issues and enhancing corporate value by deploying software and databases including MiLCA, IDEA, and CORD, human resource development programs, and consulting functions in an integrated manner.

As the core company for social implementation and growth within the SuMPO Group, SuMPO NEXT will challenge itself to create new value towards the realization of a "rich and fulfilling future."
