■ A new community from Hokuriku, where tradition and modern sensibility intersect, makes its debut in Yoyogi Uehara, Tokyo.
Hokkoku Universe™️, a community connecting Hokuriku creators with artists nationwide, supported by KUNCA Co., Ltd., will hold its first POP-UP exhibition at GALLERY PARADISO in Yoyogi Uehara, Tokyo, from April 29 (Wednesday) to May 3 (Sunday), 2026.
■ Background of the event: There’s no place like Hokuriku (Indeed, Hokuriku is a place where one feels at home).
“Hokkoku Universe™️” is a community born from the interactions of its founder, Yuri Minagawa, with dazzlingly sensitive artists she met when she moved to Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The title “There’s no place like Hokuriku” is inspired by the famous line from the movie 'The Wizard of Oz'. Through exhibitions and workshops, we will deliver fragments of happy lives born at their own pace in Hokuriku, a place with the ideal “space” for craftsmanship—nature, time, and a sense of distance.
■ Participating Artists and Exhibition Content
This exhibition will feature and sell works by three unique artists who blend Hokuriku's traditions and climate with modern lifestyles.
MYDEAR / Yuri Minagawa @dr.lily_uri

piñata @ppinataa
“Where did you get that? It’s cute!” – a small reward for yourself. Creates unique beaded embroidery jewelry using glass beads and sequins.
■ Experiential Content: Collaborations with artists and workshops also held
In addition to the exhibition and sales of works, collaborative items by the participating artists, unique to this exhibition, will be featured. Furthermore, piñata will host a daily workshop titled “OMAMORI Bracelet Made with Natural Stones and Beads.”
Opening Party: April 29 (Wednesday) 18:00〜20:00. A casual gathering will be provided to toast with “delicious” treats from Hokuriku.
