## Greetings
Kanazawa is a city where tradition and innovation coexist in daily life. In this place, where crafts and art are not seen as special but naturally incorporated into daily living,
"Maker's Watch Knot" will open a new store.
Knot has always incorporated manufacturing that utilizes materials and techniques from various parts of Japan into its Japanese-made watch brand. By transversely editing technologies from different regions of Japan, such as Tochigi leather, Kyoto's Shoen Kumihimo, and Yamanashi's Makida Shoten umbrellas, Knot has proposed crafts as "items to be used daily."
At this new store, we will focus on crafts from Ishikawa and Hokuriku, centered in Kanazawa, and propose new value by making them an intimate part of daily life. As the first phase, we will select and offer Kanazawa foil products that blend into daily life, created by Hakuichi, an Ishikawa Prefecture partner, and products using the "sewable wood" technology by Taniguchi.
Going forward, we will expand our product range to include region-specific craft products such as Kaga Yuzen, Wajima-nuri, and Kutani ware.
For domestic customers, we aim to be a place for rediscovering crafts that blend into daily life. For international visitors, we aspire for Knot to be a new global concept shop serving as a gateway to high-quality MADE IN JAPAN craftsmanship.

## About the store location "Higashi Chaya District"
Kanazawa's iconic tourist spot, "Higashi Chaya District," is a historically charming area lined with traditional teahouse architecture, attracting many visitors. The picturesque townscape holds high scenic value and is highly popular as a spot where one can experience Kanazawa's culture.
We aim for this shop to embody a new concept: developing products from local Ishikawa Prefecture partners alongside "MUSUBU partners"—craftspeople from across Japan.
Knot, together with Ishikawa Prefecture partners "Hakuichi" and "Taniguchi," has released special watch collections. The store will also feature special exhibition corners focusing on these two locally-rooted companies.
## Kanazawa Foil / Hakuichi Co., Ltd.
Hakuichi, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, is committed to manufacturing that values the gold leaf technology passed down in Kanazawa and the seasonal arrangements of Japan. Hakuichi pursues the possibilities of "gold leaf and foil" in a wide range of products, including gifts that brighten spirits, craft items that add color to daily life, and edible gold leaf.

## Sewable Wood / Taniguchi Co., Ltd.
Taniguchi, which has inherited woodworking technology for over 70 years, has developed an innovative new material called "sewable wood." This unique material is made by slicing wood extremely thin, giving it the flexibility to be sewn like fabric, while retaining the natural texture and aroma of wood. Breaking free from conventional thinking, Taniguchi pursues the possibilities of wood, proposing new value that enriches daily life through fashion, miscellaneous goods, and interiors.

## [Open Commemoration] Release of Kanazawa Foil Strap realized in collaboration with Hakuichi. Special limited pre-sale for initial quantities.
This strap is meticulously handcrafted by a Kanazawa foil artisan, applying Kanazawa foil to each piece of cowhide.
Luxuriously adorned with gold leaf, a symbol of Kanazawa foil, and silver foil tightens the overall impression, creating a sense of depth. The unique patterns, characteristic of traditional crafts, ensure that each strap is one-of-a-kind.
This piece by Hakuichi was born from exceptional craftsmanship.
It combines the techniques of Rimi Miyagi, a foil decoration artisan who has explored Hakuichi's manufacturing expressions for over 20 years, bringing out the maximum beauty of Kanazawa foil within the limited area of a watch strap.
Experienced and skilled handwork achieves a balanced foil expression.
We also have many other commemorative events planned for the renewal.
The entire staff looks forward to your visit.
