◇ Message from Ms. Carla Taba, Founder and CEO of INVEL Corporation
Four years ago, I spoke about the beauty of 50-year-old women in Japan. At the time, most people were modest about it. However, I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that Japanese women are the purest and most beautiful in the world.
And I think the image of women in their 50s 20 years from now will be different from the women in their 50s today.
Each generation has its own unique qualities.
Women over 50 today are wonderfully strong and gentle. That beauty is the 'light' deep within their hearts, and they have not yet realized that they hold this 'light' and are shining powerfully.
I believe 'Chain of Love' will help these women realize that the light exists within them, that it is them, and that this 'light' is infinite. By realizing this, I think they will be able to change their own lives and illuminate everyone around them.
The second careers of W50+ (women over 50), the visions they have, their experiences, and more.
This is not just for special people; everyone has their own Super story.
This July, a book titled 'As I become' will be published in the United States.
It is a collection of stories from 29 Japanese women.
I highly encourage you to read about the 'light' of these women, and today in this venue,
I hope you will listen to the stories of the special guests we have invited, who also possess this 'light'.

I believe the phrase 'Chain of love' holds power and a very beautiful light that circulates love.
Where can we transmit the light that each of us holds?
How should we utilize it?
I want you to feel, empathize with, and take these thoughts home from this summit.
Ms. Akisawa
I want to change the phrase 'because I am already old' to 'I can do this precisely because I am this age'.
Through my charity work in Sri Lanka, I learned cross-cultural adaptability.
This means accepting that there are differences across borders, and even within families.
I strongly urge women over 50 to acquire this adaptability, recognize that they are unique, and aim for a life where they fully express themselves.
Ms. Kotani
I used to think that turning 50 meant walking down the stairs, but by challenging myself in the Masters, I realized that from 50, you can utilize the various experiences and things you've absorbed to evolve further. As a result, I was able to win four gold medals.
I believe life begins at 50!
Ms. Hashimoto
Rather than just trying hard, I think it would be great if living brightly and joyfully increases the number of children who want to become adults like that. I want a society where everyone can be kind.
Also, being at peace means being able to play sports. I want to change society through sports, and I believe being healthy leads to creating a society where people shine on their own.

Doing strength training lifts my spirits. I think if your mind is not well, your body won't be well either.
(Ms. Kotani)
When the brain is tired, the whole body gets fatigued, and you lose the will to live.
It is important to refresh the brain (Ms. Hashimoto)
Messages to women who will create the next generation
Life begins at 50! I want you to aim to be the kind of 50-somethings that younger generations want to approach.
