[Comment from Hiroki Mori, Executive Officer and Regional Revitalization Business Director, IBJ]

Our company surpassed 20,000 successful marriages in 2025, holding the largest domestic class*¹ of marriage activity data and know-how. To utilize these as part of measures against the declining birthrate, we fully entered the regional revitalization business in 2024 and are currently working on marriage support in collaboration with administrations and local governments nationwide.
Akita Prefecture faces a rapid population decline, and the decrease in the number of marriages is an urgent issue. We believe that considering measures to enhance the effectiveness of marriage support within the administration is extremely important for creating an environment where people who wish to marry can do so. We will contribute to marriage support in Akita Prefecture and to the creation of sustainable communities by leveraging our specialized knowledge, track record, and accumulated know-how.

Contributing to Social Issues through 'Public-Private Partnership'

IBJ signed partnership agreements with Okayama Prefecture in August 2025, Yamanashi Prefecture in December 2025, and Akita Prefecture in April 2026. We will actively promote everything from fostering a marriage-friendly atmosphere to providing marriage support, aiming to expand regional demand and revitalize areas starting from marriage.
