Releases "HAYAWAZA Lite," a Free Tool to Innovate Overseas Accounting Operations

HAYAWAZA Inc. (Headquarters: Edogawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Nobuhito Okouchi), developer and provider of the data converter "HAYAWAZA" that automatically converts CSV/Excel data into journal entries for accounting software, will release the English version "HAYAWAZA Lite" for the overseas market free of charge on July 1, 2026. It supports "QuickBooks," a globally popular accounting software, and aims to improve the efficiency of accounting operations for overseas bases of Japanese companies and small to medium-sized businesses.

Background of the Release

In recent years, the overseas expansion of Japanese companies and the management of overseas subsidiaries have generated significant man-hours in data transfer and input operations between local accounting software and the accounting infrastructure of the Japanese headquarters. The need for automation and efficiency in journal entry input has become a common challenge for companies operating globally.

We have so far provided "HAYAWAZA" for the domestic market, supporting data conversion for numerous accounting software such as JDL, Yayoi Accounting, TKC, and MJS. As the first step in deploying the expertise cultivated domestically to the global market, we have developed the English version "HAYAWAZA Lite" and will release it free of charge for anyone to use.

What is HAYAWAZA?

HAYAWAZA is a data converter that transforms transaction data in CSV/Excel format (bank statements, credit card statements, sales data, etc.) into journal entry data that can be imported into accounting software. It has been widely used in domestic accounting firms and accounting departments for over 20 years.

It broadly supports major domestic accounting software including Yayoi Accounting, TKC, MJS, and Money Forward, and its greatest feature is its ability to convert diverse transaction data in different formats into journal entry formats suitable for each accounting software. It significantly reduces cumbersome manual input work and contributes to operational efficiency and productivity improvement against the backdrop of a worsening shortage of accounting personnel.

Supports the data import format for the Desktop version of QuickBooks, used worldwide. It strongly supports accounting operations at overseas subsidiaries and local corporations.
