'haccoba -Craft Sake Brewery-', established in February 2021 by haccoba Co., Ltd. (Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, CEO: Taisuke Sato), has developed the original sake 'SPARK 26' in collaboration with Richie Hawtin, an artist who also serves as a 'Sake Samurai'. This sake commemorates the 26th anniversary of 'WOMB', a club symbolizing Tokyo Shibuya's dance music culture, and will make its world premiere at the anniversary party held on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Richie Hawtin has introduced numerous sakes to the world, while haccoba champions sake brewing unconstrained by existing boundaries. Following the enthusiasm of last year's 'RICHIE HAWTIN × WOMB × Sake Brewery' series, haccoba has taken the baton this year.

While based on traditional Japanese sake brewing methods, haccoba's style effortlessly transcends genre boundaries. Under the direction of Richie, infused with deep respect, they pursued a sake that is not merely a commemorative item, but one that resonates with the heat of the dance floor, where the sound drops and bodies sway.

'SPARK 26' is a sparkling sake that offers a refreshing yet complex flavor profile. True to haccoba's commitment to local ingredients, they adopted a method of fermenting distillation lees from 'naturadistill', a craft gin distillery in Fukushima, together with rice.

- Botanical Aromas Inviting Spring: Uses the distillation lees of the seasonal gin 'Plum Blossom Mandarin Orange Distilled Liquor'. The complex aromas of plum blossoms, mandarin oranges, and strawberries layer with juniper berries, evoking the arrival of spring.

- A Taste Crossing Boundaries: By layering the essence of gin over the fermentation of rice and koji, the resulting bottle crosses genre boundaries, making it a highly creative piece that closely mirrors Richie's own musicality.

Established a brewery in February 2021 in Odaka, Fukushima, a town where the population temporarily dropped to zero due to evacuation from the nuclear accident.
