A First in SUPER GT History! A GT Machine Appears on Platform 3 at JR Ryogoku Station!

GT Association Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the GT Entrant Association, Toyota Motor Corporation, Honda Racing Corporation, and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., will hold a new fan-participation event, "SUPER GT CONNECT FES 2026," on Sunday, July 12, 2026, on Platform 3 of JR Ryogoku Station and at Ryogoku Station Hirokoji (West Exit Event Plaza).

On this day, SUPER GT will break free from the circuit. The presence of GT machines, the passion of the teams, the true faces of drivers and team directors, and the voices of fans nationwide. We will connect the appeal of SUPER GT, normally only experienced during race weekends, all at once through the real venue in Ryogoku, Tokyo, and TikTok LIVE.

This is a one-day, new-generation motorsports event that everyone, whether attending in person, participating via smartphone, cheering for teams and drivers, or encountering SUPER GT for the first time, can enjoy with the same passion from their respective locations.

What is SUPER GT CONNECT FES?

A new-generation motorsports event where SUPER GT, teams, manufacturers, and fans share the same day.

"SUPER GT CONNECT FES" is a one-day festival that expands the excitement born at the circuit to the streets of Tokyo, smartphones, and to teams, manufacturers, and fans. At the venue, you can experience GT machines up close, and via TikTok LIVE on your smartphone, you can get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes of the teams and the real expressions of drivers and team directors that are usually not seen.

If you go to JR Ryogoku Station, there will be a GT machine. If you open your smartphone, you can connect with the teams. For those who are new to SUPER GT, it will be an opportunity to feel "This looks interesting" and "I want to go." For core fans, it will be a sense of closeness that makes them think, "They're showing this much?" July 12th will be a special day when the passion of SUPER GT comes alive, both in the city and on screen.

At JR Ryogoku Station's "Platform 3," two champion machines from the 2025 season will be on display: the "au TOM'S GR Supra" from the GT500 class and the "LEON PYRAMID AMG" from the GT300 class. GT machines, symbols of SUPER GT, will appear on Platform 3 of Ryogoku Station, an area normally inaccessible. The sight of racing cars standing amidst the cityscape will be a truly extraordinary, "only on this day" experience.

On the day, this area will be designated as "CONNECT PIT," and MC Pierre Kitagawa will host the TikTok LIVE broadcast from JR Ryogoku Station. Through talk shows with guest drivers and team directors, venue-exclusive projects, and collaborative broadcasts with teams, circuits, and event venues, we plan to create an experience where both those at the venue and those watching via smartphone can share the same time.

TikTok LIVE: 8-Hour Live Broadcast for Those Who Cannot Attend in Person

SUPER GT's official TikTok will feature JR Ryogoku Station as the CONNECT PIT main studio, with an 8-hour LIVE broadcast planned from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We will connect live with teams, drivers, directors, circuits, and event venues to present a "participatory SUPER GT" that is not confined to Tokyo. Commenting, cheering, sharing – each action is a participatory experience that collectively creates the event. We will deliver a LIVE broadcast unique to this day, including access to garages normally off-limits, exclusive talks, and an introduction to SUPER GT that is easy for beginners to understand.

At Ryogoku Station Hirokoji (West Exit Event Plaza), the SUPER GT safety car Nissan Z, and the FRO (First Rescue Operation) vehicles that respond to accidents – TOYOTA LAND CRUISER, Nissan PATROL NISMO, and SUBARU OUTBACK – will be on display. SUPER GT's appeal lies not only in its speed but also in the technology and teamwork that support its safety. While these vehicles speed by in an instant on the circuit, they can be seen up close at the West Exit Plaza of Ryogoku Station. The power of GT machines and the presence of the vehicles that "support the race." By understanding both, we aim for an exhibition that will make even first-time visitors feel, "SUPER GT is amazing!"
