Groundbreak Inc. (Fukushima-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative: Toshihiro Seto; hereinafter "the Company"), operating "CCTHub" (Chairman: Aiko Jinno; hereinafter "the Community"), is a community focused on "fellowship x self-growth x production" that creates a world full of possibilities through building friendships and personal development, supporting people in realizing their dreams and goals.

As one of the Community's activities, in collaboration with the Cambodian travel agency monthly travel, we are implementing "Journey of Support Cambodia ~A Trip to Discover New Possibilities Through Encounters with Children~." This activity is not merely about tourism or donations; it is developed as "travel support" that simultaneously generates "real local interaction" and "changes in individual values."

Why "Travel Support" Now?

In recent years, while interest in social contribution has been growing,
we often hear voices like,
"I don't know what to do,"
"I don't feel like I'm making a difference."

Through its activities both domestically and internationally, CCTHub has consistently developed projects that combine self-growth and social contribution, based on the idea that "the transformation of individual consciousness is the origin of moving society."

This project embodies that philosophy by providing participants with the opportunity to visit the site in person, interact directly with the children, and redefine support as an "experience."

The Origin of This Project

The trigger for this project was an encounter with Yuta Goto, who operates an orphanage in Cambodia. Mr. Goto has long supported an orphanage, working with children in Cambodia.

However, merely protecting the orphanage or receiving donations does not expand the children's future. What was needed was an opportunity to connect with society.

This led to the creation of a sightseeing project where children visit World Heritage sites together. For the children, it becomes practice for their future jobs. And to support these activities, this travel support project was born.

Features of This Project

① Real Local Interaction Experience

By visiting an orphanage in Cambodia and directly interacting with the children, participants can experience the reality of support as their "own matter."

② Self-Growth and Introspection Program

During the trip, time is allocated for dialogue among participants and reflection, providing an opportunity to re-examine one's values and way of life.

③ Integration of Tourism x Social Contribution

The program structure allows participants to experience Cambodian culture and history while balancing "learning" and "experience."

Four Experiences Gained from This Project

① Interaction with children from Cambodian orphanages

At the orphanage, participants spend time with the children through games, sports, crafts, and meals. Instead of just visiting, playing, laughing, and sharing meals together naturally bring people closer.

② Visiting World Heritage Sites with the Children

Visiting World Heritage sites such as Angkor Wat and Beng Mealea becomes not just sightseeing, but a time for interaction with children and building their future. It's a precious opportunity to hear real local stories from children who regularly study Japanese and Cambodian history. You can learn about Cambodia from the children's perspective, not just explanations of the ruins.

③ Spending Time with Yuta Goto

Yuta Goto has long supported this orphanage. There are real stories about his activities in Cambodia and daily life with the children that can only be heard locally. Spending time with him allows for a deeper understanding of the background and sentiments behind this activity.

④ Traveling Becomes Support

A portion of the sales from this project is used for orphanage support, slum child support, and material aid. This trip is not just a tourist trip; participation itself leads to support.

Participant Testimonials

After participating in this trip, what left the biggest impression was the children's sparkling eyes.

The children living in the orphanage were completely different from what I had imagined; they were very lively and seemed to be enjoying themselves.

When Mr. Goto told me about each of their backgrounds, I learned that many children had experienced things so terrible they would make one want to cover their ears. Yet, the children in front of me were full of energy, more than I could imagine while in Japan.

Seeing them, my values were greatly shaken, realizing that a person's happiness and way of being are not determined solely by birth or environment. At the same time, I feel that my perspective on things has changed. Also, before going, I thought, "What can I do?" but by actually getting involved locally, I realized that there are things I can do even now.

Through this experience, I've gained a sense of my own direction. There's a world you can see by taking a step forward, even if you can't do anything special.
