GeoDreams President and Representative Director Takakisa Utaki to Speak at Geothermal Tech Meeting Hosted by Science Tokyo GXI

GeoDreams Inc. (President and Representative Director: Takakisa Utaki, Headquarters: Tokyo, hereinafter "GeoDreams") is pleased to announce that our President and Representative Director, Takakisa Utaki, will be speaking at "Current Status and Future Prospects of GX through Geothermal Energy Utilization" to be held on July 27, 2026 (Mon.) at the Ookayama Campus.

This event is an open innovation platform activity focused on the geothermal energy field, hosted by Science Tokyo GXI, and will feature both a seminar and a tech meeting on the same day.

In recent years, geothermal energy has been attracting attention as a stable domestic renewable energy source that can generate electricity regardless of weather conditions, and expectations are high for it to become a key power source for energy security and the realization of a decarbonized society.

GeoDreams is a startup company aiming for the social implementation of next-generation closed-loop geothermal power generation. Mr. Utaki will speak as a "Venture Speaker on Geothermal Energy Business," introducing an overview of our company's business and our future prospects for a geothermal revolution.

Takakisa Utaki

After joining Osaka Gas Co., Ltd., he worked in the engineering department on the development, demonstration, and commercialization of clean tech (hydrogen production, coal mine methane gas recovery, biogas purification, CO2 separation, etc.). He later worked in the corporate planning department, focusing on R&D/open innovation strategy and alliance promotion. Based on his extensive experience in new business development in the environmental and energy fields, he joined GeoDreams in 2025. Since June 2026, as President and Representative Director, he has been promoting business development and projects for the social implementation of next-generation closed-loop geothermal technology.
