GeoDreams Announces Change of Representative Director and Executive Structure

GeoDreams Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) hereby announces that it has resolved to change its Representative Director and executive structure as follows, effective June 1, 2026.

■ New Executive Structure

・Chairman and Representative Director: Seiji Nakamura (Current President and Representative Director)
・President and Representative Director: Takahisa Uzaki (Current Director and Chief Operating Officer COO)

Under the new structure, the company aims to further enhance corporate value and achieve business growth.

Mr. Nakamura has led the founding and business foundation building of GeoDreams as President and Representative Director. He has been involved in business creation and management in the energy-saving and electric power business fields for many years, with extensive knowledge and achievements in the energy industry, including launching Japan's first collective power purchase service for condominiums and leading the growth of Chuo Denryoku Co., Ltd. Going forward, as Chairman and Representative Director, he will focus on promoting medium- to long-term management strategies and supporting business growth.

Mr. Uzaki has been involved in technology development and new business creation in the clean tech field, including hydrogen, CO2 separation, and biogas, for approximately 18 years at his previous company. Currently, at GeoDreams, which aims for the social implementation of next-generation geothermal power generation, he is in charge of project development and business promotion. As President and Representative Director, he will further promote initiatives aimed at the company's business growth and enhancement of customer value.

■ Career

・After graduating from university and gaining experience in the financial industry, he founded a business in the energy-saving and cost-reduction field in 1993, laying the foundation for business development in the energy sector.

・In 2003, he launched Japan's first collective power purchase service for condominiums. He grew Rejiru Co., Ltd. (formerly Chuo Denryoku), which had this service as its core, to approximately 40 billion yen in sales, listed it on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in 2024, and in 2026, a TOB by a US investment fund was completed.

・In 2012, he founded Furusato Netuden Co., Ltd. He developed and operated a geothermal power plant (2MW) in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, establishing a renewable energy business that coexists with the local community. In 2025, he realized the sale to a Swedish investment fund.

・In 2012, he founded Team Energy Co., Ltd. Focusing on new business creation and business support, he has worked on creating socially valuable businesses and supported the development of many entrepreneurs and management personnel.

・In 2022, he founded GeoDreams Co., Ltd. under the social mission of realizing a geothermal revolution. He aims to challenge innovative geothermal drilling technology and establish a next-generation geothermal development model. He is leading the resolution of Japan's energy challenges and the realization of a decarbonized society.

■ Career

He earned a Master of Technology Management (MOT) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Osaka University.

▸ Master of Engineering: Efficiency evaluation of hydrogen liquefaction magnetic refrigerator using numerical simulation

▸ Master of Business Administration: Economic evaluation of hydrogen production process using biogas feedstock

・Joined Osaka Gas in April 2007

In the engineering division, he worked on clean tech technology development, demonstration, and commercialization.

(Hydrogen production, coal mine methane gas recovery, biogas purification, CO2 separation, etc.)

・From 2015 to 2017, he participated in the US Freeport LNG terminal construction project.

Afterwards, in the corporate planning division, he was in charge of R&D, open innovation strategy, and alliance promotion.

・In 2021, he led the launch of SPACECOOL Co., Ltd. (WiL x Osaka Gas), a startup from Osaka Gas, and promoted its commercialization.

・Resigned from Osaka Gas in April 2025, joined GeoDreams Co., Ltd. in May 2025.
