Notice of Executive Personnel Changes

enechain Inc. announced executive personnel changes, effective July 1, 2026.

With the mission "Building Energy Markets, Coloring Our Society," enechain provides marketplaces for trading wholesale electricity and environmental values. Amidst rising geopolitical risks and the need to address climate change, stable procurement of electricity and cost optimization are issues that concern society as a whole, from businesses to consumers. Improving the liquidity and ensuring the transparency of the wholesale market, along with the decarbonization of energy, are critical challenges that the entire industry must tackle. To play a part in solving these challenges, enechain is accelerating investment in the development of multiple products centered around its wholesale trading platform "eSquare Live," backed by over 3 trillion yen in transaction volume and an additional 5.05 billion yen in Series B funding.

Against this backdrop, we have appointed new Chief Officers (CxOs), Executive Officers, and Specialist Officers, and further strengthened our management structure by welcoming Christopher Giancarlo, former Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and RJ Cummings, former Head of Development at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), as Senior Advisors. With this structure, we aim to further accelerate business development and ensure the realization of growth opportunities.

Executive Officer, CISO (Chief Information Security Officer)

Manki Lim (イム マンギ)

With over 25 years of experience as a security engineer, he served as Executive Officer and CISO at LINE Corporation, overseeing security organizations across Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. At LINE Pay Corporation, he led risk management and compliance departments as Chief Risk Officer and CISO. Subsequently, he served as Security CTO of the then LINE Yahoo Corporation. He holds CISSP, the world's top information security certification.

Executive Officer, Head of Electricity Trading Division

Miyoko Suzuki (すずき みよこ)

Engaged in overseas EPC business at Mitsubishi Corporation, she was involved in power infrastructure development in Asia. Through two assignments in Taiwan, she led the commercial aspects of large-scale coal and gas power plant construction as a project manager. Subsequently, she was broadly involved in the construction of energy infrastructure and business development, including promoting offshore wind power generation projects in Taiwan and establishing joint ventures with power companies in Japan. She joined enechain in January 2022. Graduated from Ritsumeikan University, College of International Relations.

Takayuki Hasegawa (はせがわ たかゆき)

He researched natural language processing at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School, with his paper accepted at ACL, the top international conference in the field. He joined Gree, Inc. in 2013 and led the development of SNS platforms for tens of millions of users and company-wide data infrastructure. He then led new business development in the media domain from inception to expansion, overseeing business and development organizations as a subsidiary director. He joined enechain in April 2023, and after serving as General Manager, Head of Product Development, he assumed his current role.

Yuki Kawamoto (かわもと ゆうき)

After working at Nomura Research Institute and PGF Life, he was involved in IT transformation and digital strategy formulation for major power and insurance companies at Boston Consulting Group. He joined enechain in June 2021. He built the risk management system "eScan" from scratch and currently serves as COO of "eClear," which connects the spot and futures markets for electricity, overseeing everything from business strategy to product development and organizational leadership.

VP of HR

Hiromasa Takaura (たかうら ひろまさ)

At Daiwa Securities, he was involved in trading bonds and interest rate derivatives, as well as bond underwriting in the APAC and European regions. He then served as Head of Sales at Data X, and subsequently led large-scale fundraising and IR as Head of Finance. He joined Unifa in 2020 and oversaw the corporate division as an Executive Officer. At Unifa, in addition to executing capital strategies centered on finance and IR, he broadly managed recruitment, personnel system design, and organizational development as the head of the HR domain. He joined enechain in July 2026.
