The Paracontest Committee is a project that collaborates with welfare, education, and cultural fields—such as Type B Support for Continuous Employment facilities, after-school day care services, and free schools—to provide opportunities for social participation tailored to individual conditions and goals.
We aim to increase entry points where people who have struggled with their distance from society, such as those with disabilities or experiences of school refusal and social withdrawal, can feel free to take on challenges repeatedly. We want to promote a new form of collaborative open-call planning that encourages people to say, 'Let's give it a try!' with things they enjoy, are good at, or want to challenge. Starting with 'Illustration 2026,' we plan to release projects in various genres.
