After his solo debut in 1983, he served as a vocalist for many units, including the hard rock bands "TWINZER," "BLAZE," and "HARD ROCKS." He continues to captivate fans with his overwhelming voice and expressive power that allows him to sing freely across a wide range of genres. In 2015, he sang the theme song "Gera Gera Po no Uta" for the anime "Yo-kai Watch" as the vocalist for King Cream Soda, achieving a national hit. He also appeared on the 65th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, delivering his singing voice to a wide audience of all ages.
