[Takashima City, Shiga] Experience 'What if we lived here?' as a family. First 'Nature Experience dive' program combining relocation networking and parent-child workation.

In the northern part of Shiga Prefecture, where greenery, rivers, and lakes abound, dive in LIFE Inc. will hold a 3-day residential program titled 'Nature Experience dive supported by SAWAMURA' in Takashima City from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2, 2026. This initiative is the company's first relocation-focused workation project, designed for children to immerse themselves in local nature while parents experience the 'feeling of living in Takashima' through networking with existing residents, remote work, and local exploration. On the first day, the program collaborates with 'Korekara Salon,' a networking event hosted by Takashima City, where participants can hear real-life stories about parenting, work, and community from experienced migrants. Additionally, SAWAMURA Co., Ltd., a Shiga-based housing construction company, participates as a special sponsor to support the creation of local connections and opportunities to 'test-drive' life in the region. While interest in regional migration, dual-residence living, and workations has grown, many parenting generations find it difficult to stay in a new region with children. This program allows children to engage in free play and nature activities in forests, streams, and rural landscapes under the supervision of qualified staff such as nursery teachers. Meanwhile, parents are free to attend networking events, work remotely from accommodations or cafes, or enjoy local strolls. On the second and third days, activities such as forest play, creature hunting, fire-making, and stream play will take place at 'Kutsuki no Mori' and 'Shiga no Sato.' With a small group size of 10, children can participate safely even if they are new to nature experiences. Takashima City is easily accessible from Osaka and Nagoya, offering an environment where nature and daily life are closely linked, making it an ideal destination for families who want to experience nature-oriented parenting without necessarily committing to relocation yet.
