DAN Launches Exclusive 'Forestier Jacket' with Dickies®: Reimagining a Classic Loved by Le Corbusier from a Workwear Perspective

DAN Co., Ltd. announces the release of the 'Forestier Jacket,' an exclusive collaborative piece with workwear brand Dickies®. Pre-orders will be available from June 19 to June 28.

Since its founding, DAN has focused on creating clothing that develops character and charm through prolonged wear. The newly launched Forestier Jacket is a product of this philosophy.

The design is based on the Forestier Jacket famously worn by French architect Le Corbusier. By combining its distinctive silhouette—somewhere between a jacket and a coat—with Dickies®' classic TC twill fabric, the piece achieves both the durability inherent to workwear and the refined elegance suitable for everyday wear.

The jacket is crafted from 65% polyester and 35% cotton TC twill. Initially crisp and structured, the fabric gradually softens with wear and repeated washing, developing a personalized drape, fade, and wear patterns unique to each owner. It is available in three colors: Olive, Beige, and Black.

While DAN has recently gained attention for collaborations with anime and manga, its core philosophy remains centered on creating garments meant to be cherished for years. This exclusive release presents a timeless workwear piece designed to transcend seasonal trends and be worn for many years to come.
