CSR Inc., a licensee of the radio brand "STANDARD," is launching the VXD40BT digital simple radio. The VXD40BT is a portable 350MHz band, 5W high-power digital transceiver that can be used immediately after registration.

Background

The STANDARD brand has previously released the VXD30 digital simple radio, which has received high praise in professional fields such as the service industry, construction industry, and for communication during disasters. The VXD40BT inherits the optimized size of the VXD30 while pursuing ease of use, such as by changing the angle of the keypad. The sound quality of the VXD30 was also well-received, and the VXD40BT also focuses on sound, thoroughly pursuing a sonic feel that cannot be expressed by specification values. In terms of features, it supports Bluetooth®︎ headsets, which were highly requested for the VXD30, realizing stress-free operation. It also newly incorporates a man-down function for when an abnormality occurs. The VXD40BT is a model that inherits the tradition of STANDARD and further evolves it.

2. Man-down Function

Scans (monitors) multiple pre-set channels and automatically moves to the channel where a call has started, allowing you to participate in the conversation.

During program scan, pressing the PTT button automatically finds an available channel from the set scan channels and allows transmission.

6. Newly Developed Audio Circuit

Equipped with a proprietary codec that further improves sound quality and reproducibility in weak electric fields.

7. High-Volume Speaker

Outputs 700mW of power with clear audio from the same speaker unit as the highly-rated VXD30.

8. Equalizer Function

Allows switching to the user's preferred sound quality. Equipped on both the receiving and transmitting sides.

9. 2-Microphone Noise Cancelling Function

Transmits clear audio with minimal background noise.

10. TX AGC Function

Automatically adjusts transmitted audio, allowing all users' voices to be heard at a consistent volume.

Enhanced dust and waterproofing, assuming use outdoors where it will be directly exposed to wind and rain. Ensures reliable communication.
