Honkai: Star Rail Ver.4.4 'The Whistle Roars, in the Silence of Return' Released on July 15th, Collaboration with Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Starts on July 24th

Global entertainment brand HoYoverse has announced the release of 'Honkai: Star Rail' Ver.4.4 'The Whistle Roars, in the Silence of Return' on July 15th (Wednesday). This update further develops the previous story, and the Duality Garden faces an existential crisis. The pioneers will confront the Extinction Deity 'Silence' and engage in a fierce battle. Additionally, during the Ver.4.4 period, 'Honkai: Star Rail' and 'Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]' will collaborate on new developments. The Holy Grail War will open its curtains again, and Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh will step into a new chapter that spans the galaxy.

Finally, a head-on confrontation with the Extinction Deity 'Silence'

In the latter part of the previous story, the Extinction Deity 'Silence' finally revealed its true form, shattering the peace of the Duality Garden that had continued for 15 years. After a fierce collision, Himeko disappeared after confronting Silence, but before that, she left only a hidden clue related to the train. In this story, the pioneers will follow her footsteps, unravel the clues left behind, and pursue Himeko's whereabouts. The truth about Himeko's identity and the incident that occurred 15 years ago will be the key to uncovering Silence's true purpose. In the end, the pioneers will confront Silence head-on. Can the Duality Garden overcome this life-and-death game of annihilation?

A new appearance of Himeko

In Ver.4.4, Himeko will join the battle in a new form as 'Himeko: Departure'. As a ★5 character of the Wisdom Destiny, Himeko: Departure will immediately deploy a boundary upon entering battle and summon the robot 'Star Pioneer' to support the battle. When the ultimate skill is activated, she will cooperate with her allies to operate 'Star Pioneer' and attack the enemy. Furthermore, while the boundary is deployed, all allies will gain an additional 'Support Skill', allowing them to summon 'Star Pioneer' at any time to attack all enemies. If the allies are members of the Train faction, special effects can also be activated. Additionally, during map exploration, if Himeko: Departure uses a secret technique, she can operate the robot to lock onto enemies from the air and attack enemies within range.

Collaboration with 'Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]'

In Ver.4.4, unexpected turmoil awaits the Duality Garden.

After the Fifth Holy Grail War, Rin Tohsaka, who had set out on a journey to another world, wandered into the Duality Garden and exhausted her magical power. In dire straits, she borrowed the Holy Grail displayed at the 'Star Rail FES' exhibition, summoned a Servant, and attempted to use its power to escape from this world. The Holy Grail is reactivated in the Duality Garden, filled with wishes. Moreover, even the 'King's Treasure' of the Hero King Gilgamesh is scattered throughout the paradise, causing a large-scale commotion. The pioneers, upon receiving a request from the Bureau of Supernatural Phenomena Management, will pursue the whereabouts of the treasure together with Rin Tohsaka and unravel the truth hidden behind 'Illusion Creation: Holy Grail War'—The collaboration between 'Honkai: Star Rail' and 'Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]' will officially be released starting July 24th (Friday). As the Holy Grail War breaks out again, Rin Tohsaka will join the party as a playable character. As a ★5 character of the Wisdom Destiny, she excels in combat using gems. During battle, she can obtain a certain amount of 'Gem Energy', and by consuming it, she can deal additional damage to random enemies multiple times. The more 'Gem Energy' consumed, the more times additional damage can be dealt. Additionally, every time an ally consumes or recovers SP, the critical damage increases, and Rin Tohsaka's 'Gem Energy' also accumulates.

Gilgamesh will also appear as a playable character. He is a ★5 character of the Destruction Destiny with the Lightning attribute. During battle, every time an ally acts, Gilgamesh's 'Excitement' accumulates, EP recovers to a certain value, and the damage of the ultimate skill increases. Furthermore, when 'Excitement' reaches a critical value, the combat skill 'King's Treasure' is unlocked, and weapons are launched from the treasure vault to deal damage to the enemy multiple times. When the ultimate skill is activated, 'The Star of Creation at the Beginning of the World' is summoned, dealing massive damage to all enemies.

From the start of the collaboration on July 24th (Friday) until the end of Ver.4.6, logging into the game will allow you to obtain one of the limited ★5 characters 'Gilgamesh' or 'Archer' for free, along with some cultivation materials for the selected character. Additionally, the 'Collaboration Leap Character' and 'Collaboration Leap Prism' from this collaboration will be open for an extended period. The number of guaranteed pulls for 'Collaboration Leap Character' from Phase 1 and Phase 2 is completely shared, and 'Collaboration Leap Prism' follows the same specifications. Furthermore, during the Ver.4.4 period, if you consume a total of 200 'Star Rail Exclusive Tickets', you can choose to obtain one of the collaboration-limited ★5 prisms 'As I Am' or 'In the Abyss of Burning Ideals' after the collaboration starts.

In the first half of Ver.4.4, the limited ★5 characters 'Spark', 'Dan Heng: Ascension', and 'Changye Moon' will be rerun for a limited time. In the second half, the limited ★5 characters 'Keryl', 'Annihilation', and 'Adventurer' will be rerun for a limited time. Additionally, during the version period, the new costume 'Sweet Dream Radio Waves' for 'Spark' will appear. Furthermore, new content such as the new pet 'Five-Flavor Emoji' and the exploration outfit 'Doujin Cosplay' will be added, delivering various surprises to brighten your journey.

New Events and Content

In Ver.4.4, a variety of new events and content will appear. After the update, the collaboration event 'Fate / Night of the Galactic Railway' will be held in accordance with the story's progress. The pioneers will pursue the 'King's Treasure' together with Rin Tohsaka and delve into the truth hidden behind 'Illusion Creation: Holy Grail War'. Furthermore, in the version event 'Anti-Corruption Professional', the pioneers will accept a request from Adventurer, stack data blocks, and challenge the investigation of corruption within the company.
