Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3 "The Living, Crossing to the Other Shore" to be Released on Monday, June 1

Global entertainment brand HoYoverse has announced that Version 4.3 of "Honkai: Star Rail," titled "The Living, Crossing to the Other Shore," will be released on Monday, June 1, 2026. The story of Amphoreus continues in this version. The Trailblazer splits paths with Thousand-Forge Blade and steps into the painted world. Under the dual oppression of the shadow of the Lord Ravager "Silence" and the seal of the Aeon of "Voracity," Blade will face the culmination of the fate he has borne for many years.

The secret sealed deep within Amphoreus will finally be revealed in this version. Awaiting at the edge of the painted realm is the husk of the Aeon of Voracity. This ancient entity governing craving and gluttony is the key to Blade's gamble this time. Taking the flesh and blood of Shuhu, which resides within the bodies of two hundred thousand mara-struck, into his own, Blade steps onto the board himself. By borrowing the power of "Voracity" to melt away everything within his body, including Shuhu, he intends to put an end to a curse that has persisted for years. But will the destination be death, or rebirth? The blanks left in Elio's script remain unfilled. It will be up to the Trailblazer to witness the answer.

At the same time, the Trailblazer will also journey to the "Hidden Spring of Crossing Pictures," which exists on the boundary between the real world and the painted world, to warn its guardian, Graphier, of the threat of "Silence." Known as the "Mother of Illusions," this ancestor of the Murata family has already lived for a thousand years. Back in the Amber Era 2148, she sealed all of Ahatopia inside a painting with a single brushstroke to halt the invasion of extraterrestrial demons. However, as a price, subsequent inheritors of the Murata family were burdened with the fate of bearing the "Curse of Weathering." This thousand-year-old figure, who has witnessed numerous major events across the galaxy, finally makes her official appearance. Her arrival may bring new answers to the many mysteries surrounding the Graphier family, Phantasmagoria, and Himeko.

New Playable Character

This update officially introduces the new 5-star Fire character "Thousand-Forge Blade," who treads the Path of Nihility. Tormented by the mara and having joined the Stellaron Hunters, this swordsman who has long waited for the "death in the script" will face a major turning point in his destiny in this version.

In battle, Thousand-Forge Blade's Ultimate, "Bones in the Furnace, Flesh as Firewood," deploys a special field and shifts him into an enhanced state. While the field is active, all enemies receive increased damage. In his enhanced state, Thousand-Forge Blade unlocks new combat skills, allowing his sword formations to deal higher damage to enemies, and gains access to an even more powerful new Ultimate. Additionally, every time an ally attacks an enemy, it applies a debuff to the target, and Thousand-Forge Blade gains a special charge. When the charges reach maximum, he automatically unleashes a combat skill once and regenerates Energy.

Coinciding with this update, the "Rite of Sword Forging" event will also be held. Obtaining Thousand-Forge Blade through the Warp will grant players the new Trailblaze Outfit "Hellfire of the Other Shore" for free.

Furthermore, the first half of the version will feature a rerun Warp for Yaoguang, while the second half will feature limited-time reruns for Cyrene and Phainon.

New Version Events

In the version event, the IPC will open "First Land" in the painted world. As the "Chief Planner," the Trailblazer will design routes and place attractions in various themed areas for the "Firsts" to enjoy.

Additionally, a new "Star-blazing Mode" will be added to the three challenge modes: Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. In this mode, Trailblazers must form three teams to challenge three different stages. Clearing each content with full stars will grant an additional 100 Stellar Jades per phase. Completing all three contents will reward players with a total of 300 additional Stellar Jades.

Collaboration Information

Moreover, a collaboration between "Honkai: Star Rail" and "UGREEN" was officially announced. Co-branded products and both online and offline events are scheduled to roll out globally.
