CELLORB Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ko Sakuma), with its mission to "Connect the World through Play," has agreed to integrate its professional esports team "VARREL" with "CAG OSAKA," operated by Broadmedia Esports Inc., a subsidiary of Broadmedia Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Taro Hashimoto).
Furthermore, we announce that in conjunction with this, discussions have commenced with Broadmedia Corporation towards the realization of a comprehensive business partnership in the education field.
Based on this partnership, CELLORB will take over the "Rainbow Six Siege Division (hereinafter, R6S Division)" of "CAG OSAKA" and integrate it with "VARREL." This will allow VARREL's R6S Division to embark on a new journey, and through the creation of player development curricula that fuse the know-how of both companies, we will also promote the development of next-generation esports talent.
R6S Division "CAG by VARREL"
With this business acquisition, the players and staff who have built numerous achievements as "CAG OSAKA" will begin activities as VARREL's R6S Division, "CAG by VARREL."
Through this team integration, we aim to build a solid support system to maximize the competitive environment for players and ensure victories in world tournaments. This is not merely a division acquisition; by fusing the strengths of both entities that have led Japan's esports scene, we aim to create unprecedented excitement and passion together with fans, partners, and the community.
