The #Cute World Project, a next-generation idol audition originating from Nagoya and spearheaded by influencer Ayaka Honmo, who garners significant support, especially among Gen Z, is finally reaching its fateful conclusion with a documentary following its journey.

Beginning with document screening in November 2025, followed by a second round and a third round via streaming, a rigorous fourth round unfolded over a month in February 2026. Only 12 contestants earned a ticket to the final training camp after overcoming intense weekend training sessions. At the final training camp, contestants faced the professional rigor behind the glamorous stage, tasked with perfectly mastering new assigned songs and formations within three days. Amidst pushing themselves from morning till night, a 15-minute communication time with their families was scheduled for the second night. Tears welled up as they heard warm words of encouragement through their smartphones…

Former national idol Ai Kago and Hiroyuki Hayakawa, known for the song "Kawaii Dake Ja Dame Desu Ka?" by CUTIE STREET, joined the final judging. In a tense atmosphere, team dance evaluations and individual singing and dance assessments were conducted. The judges intently watched their final performances, which were stakes for their lives. After all the judging concluded, the moment of member announcement arrived. Who will win the five-month-long audition and take their first step as an idol?
