CA Tech Kids Launches Recruitment for 'Global STEM Program in Switzerland', an Overseas Program to Study in World-Class Educational Hub Zurich

CA Tech Kids Co., Ltd. (CA Tech Kids, headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, represented by President Tomohiro Ueno), a company providing programming education for children, announces that it will hold the overseas educational program 'Global STEM Program in Switzerland' in collaboration with H.I.S. Co., Ltd.

Background

Since its establishment in 2013, CA Tech Kids has provided programming education with the goal of nurturing 'human resources who can realize their own ideas using technology as a tool and proactively engage with society.'

In today's world where technology transcends borders, the 'society' that children will face in the future is not limited to Japan. To provide opportunities for learning and challenging themselves on a global stage, rather than learning confined within Japan, the company has been developing the short-term overseas educational program 'Global STEM Program.'

So far, the program has been held in Munich, Germany in the summer of 2025, and in Singapore in the spring of 2026. Additionally, in November 2025, an international exchange program was held where children from Munich, Germany were invited to Tech Kids School in Japan to work on projects in teams with Japanese children.

Through these programs, participants have gained opportunities to broaden their horizons and proactively think about their own future and learning through experiences such as:

- Learning in different languages, cultures, and environments
- Collaborating with peers from overseas using technology as a common language
- Learning about the unique social issues and industrial structures of each country

Now, as the third destination, the program will visit Switzerland, known for its high educational standards and international character.

Switzerland is known as one of the world's leading innovation nations, having been ranked first in the 'World Competitiveness Ranking 2025' published by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Furthermore, it has a concentrated environment of research institutions, technology companies, and startups, including ETH Zurich, where education, research, and industry are closely linked.

This program aims to provide participants with the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and think about their own futures by experiencing Switzerland's unique educational environment and technology.

Program Details

The 'Global STEM Program in Switzerland' will be held from Monday, August 17, 2026, to Sunday, August 23, 2026. The features of this program are introduced below.

① STEM and Programming at a Swiss Educational Institution

In this program, workshops themed around AI and application design will be conducted at 'Tech Spark,' an educational institution that also provides curricula to prestigious Swiss boarding schools.

Through programs cultivated in an educational environment where students gather from around the world, participants will be exposed to STEM education, including cutting-edge AI applications and application design.

② Visit World-Class Universities

This program plans to visit 'ETH Zurich' and 'University of Zurich.'

ETH Zurich is one of the world's top science and technology universities, consistently ranked highly in global university rankings, and is also known as the alma mater of Albert Einstein.

By experiencing the sites where cutting-edge research and education take place, participants will deepen their understanding of studying on a global stage.

③ Consider Global Careers Through Company Visits

This program will visit the Swiss robotics company 'Ascento AG.' Ascento AG is a startup developing autonomous mobile robots, and one of its founders is Japanese.

At the site, participants are scheduled to hear talks about 'working/starting a business abroad' and 'solving social issues with technology.'

Through interaction with entrepreneurs taking on global challenges, the program aims to provide participants with an opportunity to think about their future paths and careers.
