(Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Haruna Shiga) is pleased to announce that Medical Corporation Rakwakai (Head Office: Yamashina-ku, Kyoto; Chairman: Hironori Yano), which operates Rakwakai Otowa Hospital and other facilities, has decided to adopt "EggU" (an ovum testing kit + online counseling by specialists) as an optional examination for human dock at its health checkup businesses, "Rakwakai Kyoto Kenshin Center" (Rakwakai Otowa Hospital Kenshin Center, Rakwakai Toji Minami Clinic Kenshin Center), starting April 2026.

This initiative was realized after NTT West Corporation (hereinafter referred to as NTT West) confirmed a growing interest in "body-axis" (physical health) among its employees for designing their own careers and life plans, through a trial of EggU conducted for its employees.

Based on this background, the Rakwakai Kyoto Kenshin Center (Rakwakai Otowa Hospital Kenshin Center, Rakwakai Toji Minami Clinic Kenshin Center), designated as a registered health checkup center by NTT West, decided to adopt EggU to provide individuals with the option to confront their physical health through a familiar opportunity like a health checkup.

**Why NTT West Stepped Up to Support the "Body-Axis"**

NTT West has already established comprehensive systems to accommodate changes in employees' life stages, such as childcare leave, reduced working hours, and remote work systems. What the company next tackled was addressing "individual micro needs" that could not be fully met by these existing systems.

For NTT West, which promotes "supportive HR" aimed at realizing each employee's career vision in partnership with the company, one unseen challenge was "body-axis anxiety." While concerns related to the "work-axis" in career planning are easily imagined, physical anxieties related to hormone balance, pregnancy, and childbirth are often hard to notice unless one is directly experiencing them. The EggU trial was conducted as one of the initiatives to deepen understanding of such subtle perspectives.

**Results Revealed by the Trial and Emerging "Micro Challenges"**

In 2024, a trial of EggU was conducted at NTT West's General Affairs and HR Department. The trial participants were female employees aged 25-43, and a post-trial survey of users yielded the following results:

Furthermore, 70% of respondents indicated they "would like to use it at the time of a human dock or health checkup," confirming its high compatibility with medical visits, which became the trigger for this human dock option expansion.

**Rakwakai Kyoto Kenshin Center Decides to Adopt EggU to Become a "Kenshin Center Chosen by Women"**

The Rakwakai Kyoto Kenshin Center (Rakwakai Otowa Hospital Kenshin Center, Rakwakai Toji Minami Clinic Kenshin Center) of Medical Corporation Rakwakai decided on this adoption as part of its initiative to realize a "Kenshin Center chosen by women."

By adding EggU to existing breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings, the human dock will expand from being a "place to check current health status" to a "place to consider future life plans and careers."
