BAKERU Inc., a venture company headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, promoting social experiments through event creation (CEO: Hajime Kobayashi), will host 'Splash Park 2026,' a water play park where both children and adults can enjoy getting thoroughly soaked and relaxing, on the rooftop of Yokohama World Porters from July 3 (Fri), 2026, to August 30 (Sun), for a total of 59 days.

The event, which welcomed a cumulative total of 4,488 visitors over 48 days in 2025 and received widespread acclaim, will return this year—its second year—for an upgraded experience, expanding both area and content.

Adjacent to the Splash Park, Japan's first permanent installation※ of 'CRAZY GOLF,' a novel mini-golf entertainment concept originating in Europe and the U.S., will also open. Together, these attractions will offer the hottest summer destination of the season, combining exhilarating water fun with panoramic views of Yokohama.

Highlights of 'Splash Park 2026'

1. Expanded to three distinct experience zones for all generations

1 Splash Battle (Battle Zone): An action-packed, soaking-wet team activity where participants use water guns to compete for victory (recommended for ages 3 and up).

2 Splash Cruise (Pool Zone): A leisurely hand-paddled boat ride across a pool designed for children aged 3 to 9 (weight limit: 40 kg or less). (Note: Guests may not enter the water directly.)

3 Splash Kids (Kids Zone): A gentle, child-friendly water play area. Enhanced with free-access foot-soaking stations and fountain plazas included with admission.

2. CRAZY GOLF: Adjacent U.S.-Style Mini Golf Brings Endless Fun for Adults

Adjacent to the park, 'CRAZY GOLF'—Japan's first permanent installation※ of this popular European and American-style mini-golf entertainment—features nine uniquely themed holes, including roller-coaster thrills and tricky obstacles. No golf experience or skill required—this hilarious, surprise-filled game is perfect for groups. Play under the blue sky during the day or enjoy stunning night views after dark.

3. [Announcement] New Campaign Planned for 'Severe Heat Days' Officially Defined This Year

Aligned with the newly established 'Severe Heat Day' classification by Japan's Meteorological Agency and others, a联动 campaign is planned offering special visitor perks and discounts on days exceeding certain temperature thresholds. Additionally, extra water-play events will roll out progressively during the summer vacation period. (Details to be announced from mid-July onward.)

Background of the Event

The venue, 'BACK YARD,' is a content brand designed for the utilization of commercial rooftop spaces, tailored to post-pandemic lifestyle shifts, with plans for nationwide rollout. With 'Severe Heat Days' newly defined this summer and an especially harsh season anticipated, we aim to provide an open, rooftop environment where everyone can cool off with smiles and create unforgettable summer memories. This year's Splash Park will be significantly expanded in scale compared to last year and held within the 'BACK YARD' zone. Together with the Japan debut of 'CRAZY GOLF,' we will make this summer in Yokohama the most exciting yet.
