【June 21st is Father's Day】Action Channel Announces Special Program "Strongest Dad Feature"!

Action Channel, Japan's only channel specializing in overseas action dramas (AXN Entertainment Inc., Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Ryoji Nojima), has decided to present a special "Strongest Dad Feature" programming block in June, coinciding with Father's Day on June 21st. As highlights of this feature, we will exclusively bring the Japanese premiere, sooner than anywhere else, of "No Limit" (Season 2), which humorously depicts the exploits of Antoine, who is brilliant at his job but terrible at negotiating at home, and "Vigilante" (Season 2), where Manchester United legend Eric Cantona passionately portrays a father who searches for missing persons without relying on the police.

■ No Limit
Premiering on TF1 in France in 2023, the series garnered over 4.1 million viewers for its first episode and an average of 3.9 million viewers per season. It received the "Best Series Award" at the French Télé Loisirs Awards in 2024, determined by online voting.
This hybrid crime drama humorously depicts "modern family structures" in each episode, alongside tense negotiation scenes, complex family compositions, and parenting challenges.
The protagonist, Antoine, is a former negotiator who had a long career in the French National Police's BRI (Research and Intervention Brigade). He is a single father raising three daughters from different mothers. Triggered by a certain case, he is invited by Hélène, the captain of the RAID special intervention unit, to return to his role as a negotiator.

■ Vigilante
This hit crime-action drama, which was a major success on France's M6 channel, is based on the true story of a father who found his kidnapped daughter in Seine-Saint-Denis, France, in 2019, without relying on the police.
The casting of former French national football player Eric Cantona, who also played for Manchester United, as the lead role was a topic of much discussion.
Protagonist Kosta becomes an instant hero after rescuing his kidnapped daughter without police involvement. While continuing to track the perpetrators who are still at large, he forms the "Vigilante Anonymous" group with his associates and takes on cases to search for missing persons.

Episode 1 Synopsis

A new conflict structure surrounding Romeo's living environment emerges. Meanwhile, Kosta meets with Judge Cole, bringing Aria along, but becomes increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress in solving the kidnapping case.
