Developed through FC Barcelona’s famed youth academy 'La Masia', Iniesta contributed to 32 major titles, including 9 La Liga championships and 4 UEFA Champions League victories. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders in football history.

In 2018, he made a surprise move to Vissel Kobe in Japan’s J-League. In 2019, as team captain, he led the club to its first-ever Emperor’s Cup victory, making a significant impact on Japanese football. After playing for Emirates Club in the UAE, he announced his retirement from professional football in October 2024.

During scenes like the 'Twin Shoot', his deep understanding—rooted in having grown up with the anime—allowed him to perfectly embody the spirit of the original work.
