Physical Therapist Yoshihiro Yamauchi Achieves Guinness World Record for "Most people applying plasters simultaneously"

On the day, Yamauchi and participants gathered from across the country challenged the record, with 538 people successfully applying a plaster to their own wrists within one minute. This significantly surpassed the previous target record of 250 people and was certified as a new Guinness World Record.

"Changing Health with Just One Plaster" - A Message to the World

This challenge was carried out as a special project of the "Yamauchi-ryu Research Presentation" hosted by Yoshihiro Yamauchi.

Based on his knowledge as a physical therapist, Yamauchi has advocated for "plaster-only chiropractic care" and has continued to research and disseminate self-care methods that many people can practice at home.

In addition to publishing his book "Plaster-Only Chiropractic Care to Solve All Physical Ailments," he disseminates health information daily on his YouTube channel "Lower Back Pain & Stiff Shoulder Refuge [Yoshihiro Yamauchi]" with over 1.5 million subscribers, focusing on methods to improve and prevent lower back pain and stiff shoulders. He has been working to spread self-care that anyone can easily undertake.

This Guinness World Record challenge was planned with the desire to share with the world the potential of the health method of "improving physical ailments by correctly applying a plaster," which Yamauchi has been energetically pursuing.

Before the challenge, Yamauchi said to the participants:

"You can heal your own body. And it can be achieved with just one plaster. Today, by challenging this Guinness World Record, I want to convey to the world that your physical condition can change with just one plaster. Let's achieve this together, everyone."

Record Significantly Surpassed!

The challenge was conducted on the day according to the official rules of Guinness World Records.

Participants gathered, holding commercial plasters, and at the signal of the official adjudicator, they simultaneously applied the plasters to their wrists. Afterward, supervisors conducted a verification process.

As a result of the examination, 538 people completed the challenge in accordance with the rules. This significantly surpassed the target record of 250 people and was officially certified as the new Guinness World Record for "Most people applying plasters simultaneously."
