The 12th "Japan Vietnam Festival" (commonly known as JVF), a symbol of Japan-Vietnam exchange, has been decided to be held in Ho Chi Minh City in February 2027.
In 2013, Japan and Vietnam concluded the "Broad Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia," and on this occasion, the "Japan Vietnam Festival" (JVF) was launched as a bilateral exchange project.
Since 2016, it has been held by a joint Japan-Vietnam government-private executive committee, and the previous 11th event (2026) attracted a total of 458,000 visitors over two days, evolving into an international platform supporting cultural and economic exchange.
Furthermore, it has become one of the largest exchange events in Japan and Vietnam, with the participation of leading Japanese companies and organizations, serving as a venue to showcase "Japan Quality," including high-quality manufacturing, services, culture, and human resource development.
In addition, the 12th event in 2027 is planned to be held at the new Thu Thiem venue.
Under the theme "Hand in Hand" - Children, Earth, Future - we will create an event that connects the cooperative relationship between Japan and Vietnam to the future through cultural and economic exchange between the two countries.
