'The Haihun Legend: Your Shadow in Chang'an' is a historical drama based on the true story of Liu He (Marquis of Haihun), the ninth emperor of the Western Han dynasty, who ruled for only 27 days before being deposed. The story follows a young man from the modern era who travels back in time and confronts fate with courage, friendship, and love at his side.

Mao Zujun, a highly acclaimed actor, plays Wang Heng, the protagonist who time-travels from modern-day to the Western Han period. Huang Liying, a rising star actress, portrays De Jiu, a female knight serving the emperor who bears a striking resemblance to Wang Heng’s ex-girlfriend. Gen Yetin, a promising young actor, takes on the role of Liu He (Marquis of Haihun).

[STORY]

Wang Heng (played by Mao Zujun), a man living in modern-day Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, mysteriously finds himself transported back to the Western Han dynasty. There, he encounters De Jiu (played by Huang Liying), a woman who looks exactly like his ex-girlfriend, and Liu He (played by Gen Yetin), the ninth emperor of the Western Han dynasty, who was deposed after just one month on the throne (also known as the Marquis of Haihun). Still young and inexperienced in governance, Liu He refuses to become a puppet of the powerful minister Huo Guang and seeks to break free from political control. Wang Heng forms a close friendship with the bright and innocent young emperor and uses his knowledge of history from the modern era to try and change the course of the past. Meanwhile, De Jiu, the female knight who resembles his former lover, serves under Liu He. Drawn to her by a mysterious connection, Wang Heng fights alongside her against conspiracies, overcoming misunderstandings and trials to protect Liu He.
