TBS Television (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Masamine Ryuhou) announced that CS broadcast "TBS Channel 1 Latest Drama, Music, Movies," operated by the company, will exclusively broadcast "TETO LIVE TOKYO 2026" starring Kasane Teto and Asa, which was held at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO) on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The broadcast, scheduled for late June, will deliver the live performance segment with Asa Band, led by Vocaloid P Asa, featuring all songs uncut. Virtual singer Kasane Teto was born from an "April Fool's project" in 2008. Although initially created as a playful character, her unique voice and character captivated many creators. Today, songs are produced in a wide range of genres including rock, pop, Japanese-style, kayo (Japanese popular song), and electronic music, and she has become one of the representative virtual singers. In 2025, with the ambition of "Kasane Teto wants to sing and dance to live music!", a crowdfunding campaign was launched for "Kasane Teto x Asa Teto Live 2025," Teto's first original song-only live event with over 500 attendees. The campaign immediately achieved its goal of 7 million yen. Support continued to grow beyond that, prompting management to call for restraint, and ultimately, approximately 17.75 million yen in support was raised. This live concert is the second installment of a legendary live series, launched with overwhelming fan support. Asa, who also serves as a producer, has led the Vocaloid scene for many years, notably co-creating "Yoshiwara Lament," one of Teto's representative songs, with Mayu Koyamano, Teto's voice provider. The biggest attraction of this upgraded live performance is the live music provided by Asa Band, led by Vocaloid P Asa, who is also active as the bassist of "Wagakki Band." TBS Channel 1 will deliver Kasane Teto's performance, singing and dancing to the meticulously crafted live music of Asa Band, including the encore, without omission.
