We were responsible for the system development and implementation of the next-generation UX prototype "Mirai no Kurashi ~ Shopping Experience 2040 ~" utilizing the latest spatial computing devices.

TSUMIKI INC. built the system using XR technology and AI to realize JVCKENWOOD Design Corporation's vision of "a new form of shopping that imagines future values and naturally reflects individual sensibilities." We have expressed a prototype of the future daily life where everyday discoveries turn into satisfying choices.

Content Overview

This content is a concept demo that allows users to experience a series of future shopping behaviors, from discovering products to comparing, customizing, and finally purchasing them, all guided by the AI assistant "Sena." The experience is triggered by noticing a mascot character projected in AR in the spatial environment.

Using ear cuff-type wireless earphones as the use case (subject) for research and development, it is implemented by combining the following advanced technologies:

Personal AI assisting with comparison and consideration Image of future living

Personalized proposals by AI assistant

Experience a future shopping process where optimal product proposals tailored to the user's hobbies and lifestyle, as well as influencer UGC and口コミ (word-of-mouth) information, are presented in the spatial environment.

Color customization through voice interaction

Real-time generation and proposal of earphone colors based on natural language instructions such as "a color inspired by the dawn sky." A fine-tuning function using a slider is also implemented.

Virtual try-on utilizing the device's avatar function

Accurately places a 3D model of the customized earphones onto the avatar's image based on ear shape recognition. Users can see themselves wearing the earphones in real-time, just like looking in a mirror.

Portal movement between MR/VR

Seamlessly move between MR and VR spaces by passing through a "door." Experience VR spaces such as an audio listening room, a giant character zone, and a sound park where you can experience the brand's worldview.

Development Background

TSUMIKI INC. has continuously provided development support using XR technology for JVCKENWOOD Design Corporation's proprietary research project to "visualize the future shopping experience." This time, by combining generative AI and XR technology in terms of implementation, we have cooperated in prototyping next-generation UX that caters to the sensibilities of each individual consumer.

Leveraging the spatial computing and AI implementation technologies cultivated through this project, TSUMIKI INC. will continue to support the development of future prototypes across a wide range of industries.

This next-generation UX content prototype was demonstrated at "TsumikiCommunityDay2026," an event hosted by TSUMIKI INC. on May 27 (Wed.) and 28 (Thu.), 2026. At the venue booth, visitors wearing the latest spatial computing devices experienced the series of future shopping experiences, including personalized proposals, color customization through voice interaction, virtual try-on, and portal movement between MR/VR, all guided by the AI assistant "Sena."
