Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa to Hold Summer Event 'Hanabi Aquarium by NAKED,' Offering a Cooling Experience with Digital Fireworks

Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa will host the seasonal summer event 'Hanabi Aquarium by NAKED' from July 4 to September 6, 2026. The event aims to provide a 'cooling experience' away from the outdoor heat through digital fireworks, exhibits of colorful sea creatures, and dynamic dolphin performances.

The theme is a 'Fireworks Festival in the Sea World,' created through a fusion of digital fireworks by the creative company NAKED, INC. and living creatures, generating a fantastical space within the aquarium. This year's visual production has been enhanced to further emphasize the beauty and coolness of the underwater world.

## Key Exhibits and Performances

* **Entrance 'Umino Sando'**: Lantern light and interactive firework displays guide guests into a magical world. Tanks feature fish like the 'Royal Dottyback' and 'Yellow Wrasse'.

* **Immersive Area 'Kaichu Hanabi'**: Using 22 projectors, this area projects a cool underwater world across the walls and floor. It exhibits species like the 'Reef Stingray' and 'Ornate Cowfish,' with a fireworks show held approximately every three minutes.

* **Atrium Area 'Umiiro Kairo'**: This corridor depicts the transition from deep sea to shallow waters. Tanks display creatures like the 'Sculptured Slipper Lobster' and 'Mudskipper,' while fantastical fireworks bloom on the walls.

* **Coral Cafe Bar 'Utage Hanabi'**: A cafe bar lined with glowing coral tanks offers four limited-edition menu items, including a pineapple drink, a colorful agar lemon squash, and a blueberry dessert.

* **Jellyfish Ramble**: A large jellyfish exhibition space measuring approximately 9m wide by 35m deep. A special 5-minute summer program uses sound and light to express three scenes: a lively festival, a night of fireworks, and the sound of wind chimes.
