Event Overview

Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa (Location: Shinagawa Prince Hotel, 4-10-30 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Director: Megumi Akutsu) will host the early summer seasonal event "FLOWER AQUARIUM by NAKED" from Saturday, April 25, 2026, to Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Early summer is filled with colorful flowers, fresh greenery, and light. At our facility, to allow visitors to enjoy the unique charm of this season more vividly, we will create a fantastical "underwater world" where early summer flowers bloom, based on a cool "blue" theme. Utilizing the characteristics of an all-weather facility, we will create a unique "creatures × flowers" entertainment where visitors can spend their time comfortably without worrying about the weather, even during hot days, strong UV, or rainy season.

With digital flower productions by creative company NAKED, INC., a "sea garden" where colorful fish are the main stars will spread throughout the facility. At the entrance, fish gracefully swimming will welcome guests, and in the "Shiny Rain Garden," creatures adorned with early summer colors will show various expressions with light and visuals. Furthermore, in the "Blossom Glow Way," where wisteria trellises spread, creatures with impressive purple colors and sky-gazing gestures will depict an early summer scene. The flower decorations and productions placed throughout will further enhance the charm of the creatures.

This year, we are also collaborating with Hibiya Kadan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Hibiya Kadan), which has long handled various flower scenes, spatial decorations, and seasonal productions, in the jellyfish exhibition area "Jellyfish Rumble." Pursuing richer floral expressions, decorations using seasonal flowers carefully selected with their sensibility are applied to a large space approximately 9m wide x 35m deep, where jellyfish drift gently, and sound and light change with time and scene.

The transparency of jellyfish drifting in the water, the vitality of flowers, and the production woven by light and sound integrate, and the entire space expands while changing its expression like a kaleidoscope. Through exhibits inspired by the delicate forms and movements of jellyfish and the beauty of flower structures and colors, new expressions combining their respective charms are created. You can experience a mysterious and profound world unique to early summer, as if you have wandered into a flower garden spreading in the sea.

◆Luminous Flower Gate

The entrance depicts a magnificent flower gate where early summer flowers bloom all at once. Wisteria sways above, and hydrangeas, roses, and anemones form a soft arch. Light shines through the gaps in the flowers to illuminate guests' feet, casting dappled sunlight on the floor. The central tank exhibits "butterflyfish" like the "Threadfin Butterflyfish," which are "butterflies" attracted by the scent of flowers, and the beautiful purple "Purple Queen Anthias." Each gracefully swims, inviting guests to the "flower-blooming sea garden" that lies ahead.

◆Shiny Rain Garden

On the approximately 3.6m high walls surrounding the area, scenes from clear skies to rain and the sparkling post-rain landscape are expressed in about 3 minutes. Grass and flowers are depicted on the floor, and 11 surrounding tanks display creatures that evoke the colors of early summer, such as "Lime Wrasse" and "Blue Damselfish." In the central tank, "Blue-green Chromis," with their sky-blue bodies reminiscent of nemophila, swim in schools, adding a refreshing color to the space. Furthermore, visitors can enjoy effects where ripples and petals spread with their steps.

◆Blossom Glow Way

Seven small tanks display purple fish reminiscent of wisteria, such as "Purple Firefish," nestled alongside the vibrant colors of wisteria, highlighting their beauty amidst soft hues. Additionally, creatures with impressive sky-gazing gestures, like "Spotted Garden Eels" and "Ribbon Eels," are added, and their upward movements bring expanse to the scene. Wisteria trellis decorations spreading across the entire ceiling, walls depicting an underwater scene with dancing petals, and flower art in showcases color the space, creating a scene as if looking up at wisteria trellises swaying in the early summer breeze.
