Moiwa Mountain Day 2026 to Feature Dinosaur Greetings, Mini-Games, and Stage Performances

## Theme: Primitive - Experience the Ancient World on Mount Moiwa in Early Summer

Sapporo Promotion Corporation, operator of the "Sapporo Moiwayama Ropeway" in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, will host "Moiwa Mountain Day 2026" to show appreciation for its visitors. The event is held in honor of May 31st, a date derived from the mountain's 531-meter elevation.

The event will take place over two days, May 30 (Sat) and May 31 (Sun), 2026. This year's theme is "Primitive." Centered around the Mid-Station area, the event offers a wide range of content for all ages, including dinosaur greetings, dinosaur-themed mini-games, a quiz rally, magic shows, idol stage performances, and food trucks.

We provide a special two-day experience to enjoy the non-ordinary and lively atmosphere of Mount Moiwa in the lush early summer.

In addition, special flyers offering free ropeway rides for elementary school students and younger will be distributed to elementary schools in Sapporo. We are creating opportunities for local children to easily enjoy the nature and charm of Mount Moiwa.
