(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fumijiro Yao) continues to appoint the 7-member idol group FRUITS ZIPPER as its 'Meiji Snack Ambassador' for the third year, serving as the face of its 'NEW OKASHI PROJECT'—an initiative to enhance and modernize Japan’s festive seasonal events through confectionery.

This summer’s campaign theme is 'Chocolate Shaved Ice.' With the official designation of days exceeding 40°C as 'extremely hot days,' another scorching summer is expected. Meiji aims to deliver refreshing and delicious moments through its chocolate-based shaved ice treats.

The newly released WebCM, titled 'meiji♡FRUITS ZIPPER ~Chocolate Shaved Ice, Now Served~,' features the FRUITS ZIPPER members dressed in checkered-patterned kimonos in their signature member colors, appearing as the shop’s hostesses. They call out to viewers: 'Chocolate shaved ice, now served!' and invite them to 'cool down deliciously with a little chocolate.' The video showcases the members happily enjoying chocolate shaved ice and banana chocolate topped with Meiji snacks. Additionally, on social media, each member will personally welcome viewers visiting the shaved ice shop through a series of 14 vertical short videos, released sequentially over approximately two months.

This year also marks a new collaboration between Meiji, which creates joyful moments through snacks, and ASOBISYSTEM, known for creating new forms of entertainment. From July 13 (Mon), 2026, to August 16 (Sun), 2026, a limited-time collaboration menu co-supervised by FRUITS ZIPPER will be available at three 'CARBON COFFEE' locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, operated by ASOBISYSTEM. During the event,店内 decorations inspired by the WebCM’s world and original sticker giveaways will enhance the experience. This exclusive cafe event offers a unique blend of Meiji’s confectionery and FRUITS ZIPPER’s charm.

On social media, each FRUITS ZIPPER member, as the shop’s hostess, will welcome viewers who 'enter' the shop and introduce their recommended chocolate shaved ice flavors. A total of 14 vertical short videos will be released sequentially over about two months. In conjunction with the WebCM launch, the first video featuring Naka has been released.

The video begins as Naka waves and greets, 'Oh, welcome!' while holding a chocolate shaved ice. 'It’s hot outside, so let’s stay energized! How about Meiji’s chocolate shaved ice?' she cheerfully offers. Then, she says, 'My recommendation is the Sky Blueberry Chocolate Shaved Ice! It has white chocolate mixed with yogurt—refreshingly delicious!' Finally, as she takes a big bite, she exclaims, 'So delicious!' with a blissful expression.
