[Key Lecture Content]
This lecture will organize what has fundamentally changed in AI data centers, starting with the evolution of NVIDIA. The competition for NVIDIA is rapidly shifting from GPU performance itself to the supporting factors of power, cooling, water, and location conditions. Particularly, the advancement of high-density configurations has made it difficult for conventional air-cooling-centric designs to cope, necessitating new design philosophies including liquid cooling and high-temperature water cooling.

First, based on NVIDIA's roadmap and changes in rack design, we will clarify why the constraints of AI data centers have shifted from semiconductors to the infrastructure side. Next, we will organize the features and limitations of air cooling, liquid cooling, and high-temperature water cooling, and consider how external factors such as water constraints, power infrastructure, grid connection, and location conditions affect cooling methods and business viability. Furthermore, based on changes in infrastructure investment, power procurement, and risk sharing, we will show where realistic business opportunities lie in the future.

This lecture will not just be a technical discussion but will present a perspective that re-evaluates AI infrastructure as a condition for business success.

1. Structural Changes Caused by NVIDIA
(1) Evolution from a GPU company to an AI infrastructure company
(2) Changes in roadmap and rack design
(3) Shift from training-centric to inference expansion
(4) Shift of bottlenecks: from semiconductors to infrastructure

2. The Essence of Data Center Cooling Problems
(1) Increased rack density and heat generation problems
(2) The basic structure of power = heat
(3) Hot spots and air cooling limitations
(4) Why liquid cooling became necessary

3. Evolution and Reality of Cooling Technology
(1) Measures to extend the life of air cooling and their limits
(2) The mainstreaming of Direct Liquid Cooling
(3) The meaning and impact of high-temperature water cooling
