[Key Lecture Contents]
The EV Thermal Management System (TMS) is a new technical field, and various aspects of its evolution are currently being explored. This seminar will update the latest situation as of 2026.

The three subsystems targeted by TMS are the Powertrain Cooling System (PCS) for motors and inverters requiring cooling, the Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) requiring both cooling and heating, and the Air Conditioning System (ACS). The integrated architecture of these TMS is key, with improving power consumption efficiency and cost, and responding to environmental changes and EV evolution being the main challenges.

Therefore, using examples from TOYOTA, TESLA, VW, TATA, HYUNDAI, BYD, and an optimized solution (EVTTMS), various companies' TMS will be comparatively evaluated and the current situation explained. Furthermore, the trends and challenges of TMS and its components as of 2026 will be summarized. The goal is to provide an overview for non-specialists and to provoke discussion among specialists.

1. What is an EV Thermal Management System (TMS)?
2. Evolution and Current Status of TMS
3. Methods for Comparative Evaluation of TMS
4. Examples of TMS Evaluation (TOYOTA, TESLA, VW, TATA, HYUNDAI, BYD)
5. Trends and Challenges of TMS
6. Trends and Challenges of TMS Components
7. Q&A / Business Card Exchange
