Shimane Bank (President: Kazuhiko Nagaoka) announces the upcoming version upgrade of the 'Shimagin App,' as detailed below.

Since its release, the 'Shimagin App' has surpassed 100,000 cumulative downloads and is widely used not only by customers visiting our branches in the San'in region but also by nationwide customers of our smartphone branch※1 (hereinafter 'Shimaho!').

This upgrade introduces new features to make the 'Shimagin App' more convenient and suitable for daily use.

Going forward, we aim to become an indispensable app in people's daily lives by continuously launching new products and services.

1. New Functions

① Various Loan Procedures

Loan applications, contract finalization, and early repayments can now be completed entirely within the app.

② Credit Line Deposits and Withdrawals

Borrowing and repayment for credit line loans are now available directly in the app.

③ Goal-Based Accounts

Customers can now create 'Goal-Based Accounts' to manage savings for specific purposes such as travel, education, or emergency funds.

④ Transaction Memo

A new function allows users to register memos for individual deposit and withdrawal transactions.

⑤ My Number Card IC Chip Reading

A new feature enables reading the IC chip of My Number Cards during account opening, account linking, or loan applications, enabling smoother and more secure identity verification.

⑥ Investment Asset Balance Inquiry

A new function allows users to check the balance of their investment assets.

⑦ Switching to Passbookless Accounts

Customers can now switch their existing accounts to passbookless accounts directly via the app.
