Iwataya Honten will host the "Scone & TEA Party 2026 @IWATAYA" for six days from Wednesday, May 20, to Monday, May 25, 2026, at the main event hall on the 7th floor of the main building. This popular event, which has been well-received at various Mitsukoshi Isetan Group stores, will be held for the first time in Fukuoka to commemorate the 90th anniversary of its opening in Tenjin. 43 famous scone and tea shops from all over Japan will gather, allowing visitors to enjoy tasting different shops' offerings and pairing them with tea. Additionally, set menus will be available in the eat-in space, allowing guests to experience the "Nunkatsu" (afternoon tea activity) mood.
