Gakken Group's KiddiHub Collaborates with Fvital and NEC to Host Developmental Support Seminar in Vietnam

KIDDIHUB EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY (Hanoi / CEO: Vu Van Tung, hereinafter 'KiddiHub'), the Vietnamese subsidiary of IC Net Co., Ltd. (Saitama / President: Koji Momota, hereinafter 'IC Net'), a group company of Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd. (Tokyo, Shinagawa / President: Hiroaki Miyahara), collaborated with Fvital Inc. (Tokyo, Chuo-ku / President: Masumi Yasuji, hereinafter 'Fvital') and NEC Corporation (Tokyo, Minato-ku / President and CEO: Takayuki Morita, hereinafter 'NEC') to host a seminar for developmental support centers titled 'Leveraging Technology and AI for Early Support of Children with Special Needs' in Hanoi on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Over 140 participants, including managers and staff from more than 60 developmental centers across Hanoi, attended the event, which concluded successfully.

■ Delivering Japan-Originated AI Technology and Therapeutic Expertise to Vietnam

The seminar was hosted by KiddiHub at the Hanoi Toronto School. In Vietnam, while awareness of developmental disorders is increasing, there are ongoing challenges such as a shortage of therapeutic facilities and specialized personnel, and parents often struggle to find entry points for support.

To address these challenges, Fvital and NEC have jointly developed BabyTrack®Physical, a motor function assessment application that combines AI video analysis technology with physical therapy. To widely introduce this technology into Vietnam’s therapeutic settings, KiddiHub leveraged its extensive network to plan and execute the seminar.

■ Over 60 Facilities Gathered — Japan-Vietnam Collaboration Powered by KiddiHub’s Network

On the day, over 140 participants, including managers, directors, and specialists from more than 60 developmental centers centered in Hanoi, attended the seminar. After the event, many participants approached the speakers individually to exchange information regarding potential implementation. KiddiHub, the organizer, operates Vietnam’s largest platform for schools and extracurricular activities (approximately 28,000 registered facilities, around 3 million annual users) as an EdTech company, maintaining connections with a wide range of educational institutions, including kindergartens, nurseries, and developmental support centers.

Since September 2024, KiddiHub has been supporting Japanese companies’ expansion into Vietnam and business growth. Beyond merely promoting this seminar, KiddiHub has partnered with Fvital as a practical business development collaborator, assisting with market research targeting developmental centers and supporting user testing for parent-facing applications.
