'What to eat today? Picture Book Original Art Exhibition' Now Open! A Large Gathering of Delicious Food Picture Books Including 'Too Much Love for Ramen' (Gakken)!

Picture Book Original Art Exhibition" held at "Mori no Ouchi" in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture from Friday, April 17 to Monday, June 29, 2026.

The original artwork of the humorous picture book "Ramen ga Sukisugite" (Written by Satoshin, Illustrated by Rokudai Tanaka / Gakken), which is also popular among elementary school students, is currently on display at the "What to eat today? Picture Book Original Art Exhibition" being held at "Mori no Ouchi" (Azumino, Nagano). In addition to this, a large gathering of delicious food picture books such as "Pan no Zukan" (Bread Picture Book) (Yuko Omori / Hakusensha) and "Minna no Osushi" (Everyone's Sushi) (Harapekomegane / Poplar Publishing) are featured in this exhibition! I love ramen. I want to eat ramen from the morning, but mom says that's impossible. But I end up making ramen puns, go on dates at ramen shops, and my dream for the future is, of course, to run a ramen shop! A hilarious delusional story of a boy who loves ramen too much.

Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1962. Picture book author. Received the 1st Libro Picture Book Grand Prize, the 3rd MOE Picture Book Shop Grand Prize, and others for "Unko!". Other works include "Densetsu no Kyodai Anman wo Hakobe", "Watashi wa Akaneko", "Ramen ga Sukisugite", and "Osushi ga Sukisugite". Visiting Professor at Tokai University and Ogaki Women's College. Picture book live performances held all over Japan have gained popularity.
