Taiheiyo Club Announces Acquisition of Management Rights for The Royal Golf Club and Fugaku Country Club

Taiheiyo Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Han Jun; hereinafter, Taiheiyo Club) has successfully concluded discussions with Japan Kabaya-Ohayo Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture; Representative Director and CEO: Yoko Yamazaki), completing the share transfer agreement for The Royal Golf Club Co., Ltd. and Fugaku Country Club Co., Ltd., thereby acquiring management rights for both courses.

Taiheiyo Club has long pledged to its group members the "acquisition of 20 courses nationwide" and has diligently worked to expand available courses to achieve this. Taiheiyo Club has not merely pursued quantity but has carefully evaluated and considered for many years which fields could truly enhance member satisfaction, from the perspective of quality.

The primary reason Taiheiyo Club decided to acquire management rights for The Royal Golf Club and Fugaku Country Club is the high quality of both courses, including the status of existing members, course layouts, course conditions, and ancillary facilities. These are befitting of Taiheiyo Club's status and possess a high quality that will make members truly feel, "I'm glad to be a member." We are confident that with the addition of these two new courses, members will enjoy an even more fulfilling club life.

First, The Royal Golf Club will be integrated into the Taiheiyo Club common membership system from July 1 and will simultaneously be renamed "Taiheiyo Club Royal Course." The period until June 30 will be a preparation period.

The Royal Golf Club boasts a total length of 8,143 yards and a course rating of 78.4. As of March 2026, it is proud to have the longest yardage and highest course rating in Japan, equipped with "world-standard" strategic elements recognized by the R&A. Its 350-yard flat driving range with natural turf hitting bays is of unparalleled quality. The clubhouse also features a warm interior design and meticulous attention to detail. It includes accommodation facilities and a bar lounge, allowing guests to enjoy leisurely meals. Going forward, we will continue to create an environment that allows members to enjoy club life even more fully, including setting up competitions.

Fugaku Country Club is scheduled to be integrated into the common membership system in 2028, after comprehensive course renovations and refurbishment of the clubhouse and hotel facilities.

With a total length of 7,879 yards and a course rating of 77.3, it is a top-level championship course in Japan. Its scenery is also outstanding, offering panoramic views of Mount Fuji from two directions, and in spring, approximately 2,000 cherry trees adorn the course. It features accommodation facilities, allowing for an elegant stay & golf experience. Moving forward, we aim for world-class standards, such as converting to a single green, to further refine its already excellent foundation.

Taiheiyo Club will continue to evolve, striving to be a club that its members can be proud of.

≪Taiheiyo Club's 12 Years of Progress and Future Business Policy≫

On March 27, 2014, Taiheiyo Club completed its corporate reorganization proceedings and restarted as the "New Taiheiyo Club" with the following six promises:

① Transition of the board of directors to a general incorporated association

② Planned capital investment (resolution of deficiencies and discomforts)

③ Capital investment for value and brand enhancement

④ Continuous hosting and attraction of tournaments

⑤ Expansion of available courses (partnerships with famous overseas courses)

⑥ Expansion of available courses (acquisition of high-quality golf courses)

Taiheiyo Club has committed to "returning to the luxury segment" and "enhancing the value of course assets." For 12 years, it has continuously invested in 18 courses to build high-quality conditions and comfortable playing environments, promoting "Our Club, Our Course." With the acquisition of two courses on April 14, 2026, all six promises listed above have now been fulfilled.

② Opened "Taiheiyo Club GINZA," a members' salon & restaurant usable as a venue for member interaction.

③ Established the luxury and sophisticated shop brand "Select The Club" and hotel brand "Villa The Club" at key courses.
