The highly popular annual event 'Patisserie Festa in Kobe' will be held this year from Wednesday, April 22nd to Monday, April 27th. This year's theme is 'The World of Movies,' and we will deliver a sweet and exciting time from famous chefs and beloved local sweet shops.

With exhibits of craft candy, meister performances, and 'Sweets Street' where sweet shops from Hyogo and Kobe gather, it is an event where you can enjoy the 'City of Western Confectionery, Kobe' with all five senses.

☆Welcome to Entertainment ~The World of Movies~

It is said that movies were first publicly shown in Japan in Kobe in 1896. Kobe has a history befitting its name as the 'birthplace of cinema.'

To commemorate the 130th anniversary of this first public screening in Japan, a craft candy piece created by Mr. Yasuo Iwasa, a craft meister from <Cake House Tsumagari>, will be exhibited under the theme 'Welcome to Entertainment ~The World of Movies~'.

Please enjoy the power and breathtaking beauty of the works that seem ready to move at any moment, themed on 'The World of Movies,' at the venue.
