List of Award Winners
① Grand Prix
Yuri Anayama
Brand Name: YURI ANAYAMA
Concept: No cut
The concept was born from a friend's remark about how sad it is to cut up a favorite piece of clothing. 'No cut' avoids using scissors, instead using silk screening, pigment printing, and dyeing to cover stains or damage, giving discarded clothes a new life. The checkered pattern symbolizes 'eternity' and 'infinite prosperity,' reflecting the hope that these reborn garments will be loved for a long time.
② Runner-up
Yui Wakabayashi
Brand Name: yui wakabayashi
Concept: Clothes that wear excitement in daily life.
These pieces were created by preserving the charm of the original shapes and patterns of vintage clothing filled with memories, aiming for designs that are glamorous yet enjoyable for everyday wear.
③ AnotherADdress Special Award
Shinobu Tomitsuka
Brand Name: SHINOBU TOMITSUKA
Concept: post period
Every piece of clothing carries a story from its previous owner, like punctuation marks in a narrative. By replacing the time, memories, and stories etched into the clothes with circular 'punctuation' shapes and combining them, I created these four pieces in the hope that new stories would emerge.
① Grand Prix
Yusuke Nakamura
Brand Name: MAISON CASANOVA
Concept: NO GUNS JUST ROSES
Inspired by the legendary rock band Guns N' Roses, this collection expresses a desire for peace and a commitment to sustainability by reducing waste. Most of the six-piece collection is made from trench coats. Since 'trench' refers to war trenches, these pieces were created with the dream of destroying the symbols of war and hoping for a future without conflict.
② Runner-up
Kazumi Akiyama
Brand Name: KOHVA
Concept: Two Ways
This work explores the theme of giving a single garment two expressions. The length and silhouette change through the movement of gathers, allowing the impression to shift based on the wearer's gestures and mood. It finds beauty in subtle differences, depicting 'another way of being' brought about by remaking.
③ AnotherADdress Special Award
Masako Teranishi
Brand Name: Masaco Teranishi
Concept: Clothes that wear memories ~Remake that continues someone's story~
A remake that quietly continues the story of clothes that have colored someone's daily life, allowing them to begin a new life with someone else. These are one-of-a-kind garments that become more beautiful as time passes.
